Kendal Calling! Pink Tutu Sparkles Hits the Lakes

Helloooo darlings! Itā€™s your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and today Iā€™m ready to spill the tea on my latest adventure - Kendal, Cumbria, the heart of the Lake District! You guys know how much I adore getting out and about, exploring new places and bringing my Pink Tutu magic wherever I go. This time, it's all about exploring the beauty of the Lakes, the excitement of the Kendal Calling festival, and, of course, spreading the love for pink tutus (because itā€™s a way of life, babes)! This is blog post number 3582 on www.pink-tutu.com, so grab your favourite pink drink, put your comfy shoes on (unless youā€™re rocking a pair of fabulous heels like me, of course!), and let's get this party started!

A Touch of Pink in the Lake District

I always say, if it's worth travelling for, it's worth dressing up for, right? I mean, imagine the possibilities of pink tutu photo shoots in front of the majestic Lake Windermere! It would be a visual feast, like a page out of a fairy tale, or better yet, a spectacular ballet performance under a glistening night sky!

This time, I wasn't heading to Kendal for a classic ballet performance, but to the renowned Kendal Calling festival. It's the biggest event in Cumbria and known for its incredible musical lineup and bohemian vibes. Itā€™s exactly my kind of scene.

This trip was a little bit different. I travelled in style, not on the train, but on a sturdy horse named Chester! He carried me, suitcase, make-up kit, and a bejeweled pink tutu, all the way from the Derbyshire stables I keep Chester at, up to Cumbria, to Kendal. It was a scenic adventure that even my inner fashionista adored!

Festival Fun and Glitter Goals

As you guys know, Pink Tutu Sparkles is all about spreading joy. So I'd never go anywhere without making a grand entrance! Luckily, Kendal Calling has this wonderful space called the ā€˜Glitter Tent,ā€™ which is the perfect spot for fabulous performers like me. You could say I got into the spirit of the place! I rocked my latest custom-made, shimmering, pink tutu with feathers, rhinestones and a huge pink bow - you know the drill! It was absolutely radiant! I twirled my way across the dance floor to the delighted cheers of the crowd. Everyone just loved it, especially the little ones, who, in their wide-eyed awe, had their own little impromptu pink tutu parades! Theyā€™re the future, those little ones. They inspire me. I mean, think of all the potential! Pink tutu fashion for toddlers? I could start a brand. Imagine: ā€œPink Tutu Totsā€, ā€œLittle Twirling Dreams", "Princess Power"... I need to write this down for later. Itā€™s pure brilliance.

The music at Kendal Calling was just so much fun. From indie rock to folk to electronic beats, there was something for everyone! I even managed to sneak in a quick ballet lesson in the fields during one of the quiet moments ā€“ can you believe it?! I love combining my love of ballet with outdoor adventure.

Festival Food and Fab Finds

No festival is complete without food stalls galore, right? My absolute favourite find? An incredible local chef serving pink lemonade made from fresh pink grapefruit! Can you imagine?! The refreshing zing paired perfectly with my sparkly pink tutu. And who needs traditional festival food when you can indulge in rainbow-coloured cupcakes and fluffy pink doughnuts, sprinkled with edible glitter! Seriously, my sweet tooth was in heaven!

But honestly, I was also there for more than just the sparkly outfits and yummy treats. This Kendal trip was about making new connections and discovering a different part of Britain thatā€™s so close to my heart. The Lakes District is simply breathtaking - and a truly inspiring spot for all kinds of artistic inspiration!

A Moment of Inspiration

Thereā€™s something incredibly liberating about seeing the beauty of the countryside, and being so close to nature. I always feel incredibly inspired by the world around me, and it truly re-energises my creative soul.

I have to say, walking among the peaks, with the scent of heather in the air, I found myself daydreaming. I started picturing a fashion photoshoot in these dramatic landscapes, with models wearing flowing, delicate, pink tutus against a backdrop of craggy hills and sapphire waters! Wouldn't that be something?

And so, here I am, in Kendal, dreaming about pink tutus, and inspired by this breathtaking natural landscape. I can feel a new creative burst coming, my darlings. Maybe it's a collection of tutu-inspired pieces featuring delicate tulle fabrics and floral appliquƩs. Perhaps I'll have a pink tutu-themed pop-up store, right here in the Lakes District! The possibilities are endless and as always, I'll be here, documenting my journey and sharing it all with you!

Sharing the Magic of Pink Tutus

One of the greatest things about this whole pink tutu adventure is the opportunity to spread joy, share inspiration, and get more people to embrace their own unique flair, and maybe even add a bit of pink tutu magic to their own wardrobes.

So, what are you waiting for, darlings? Join me in celebrating everything fabulous and colorful. Whether it's a grand pink tutu outfit, or just a sprinkle of pink on your favourite top, embrace the magic of pink! Remember, we're all beautiful, unique, and sparkling in our own way!
