Today’s journey began bright and early, as I boarded the train from my hometown of Derbyshire. There's something truly magical about train journeys, isn't there? You get to see the world zip by from a window seat, and I spent the whole ride sipping on pink lemonade, listening to my favourite ballet tunes and mentally planning my grand performance for tonight.
And speaking of performances, my dearest loves, you know how I live for a good ballet! Tonight I'm channeling my inner ballerina – nay, my inner pink ballerina – for a performance filled with graceful moves and, naturally, an abundance of sparkly pink tulle! It’s been quite a whirlwind since I embarked on this pink tutu crusade. You see, when I’m not shimmying on stage, I'm diligently testing fabrics at the lab in Derbyshire (shh, don’t tell anyone I’m a scientist by day and a pink tutu queen by night!), making sure those sparkly materials we use on my outfits are truly fabulous! I can't reveal the specifics, my darling dears – a bit of secrecy is part of the thrill. It all began back in uni, when I, Alex, decided to don a pink tutu for a charity event. It was a whimsical, pink explosion that turned my world upside down! And let’s be honest, who wouldn't feel confident and powerful in a cloud of pink tulle? It's like wearing a hug from the sweetest dreams!
