Hello darlings! Your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles is back, and guess what? We're off to Leicester! Yes, my loves, your favourite pink-clad queen is taking to the rails for another exciting adventure! And don't you worry, I've got the whole fabulous wardrobe packed, ready to slay the stage at whatever venue awaits.
Remember that amazing time I was in Bath? It just sparked this need for something different, for something grand, and something that called for, well, PINK!

Now, let me tell you about this trip, because honestly, even I didn't think it could top the Bath spectacle. You see, I've been on this fabulous journey of bringing pink tutus to the masses. Remember those dark days when I was just Alex in the lab? I wouldn't even dream of rocking pink! But one fateful day... oh darling, it's just divine! I'd been studying fabrics, you know, for science, and it all clicked for me, the way a perfect satin tutu twirls! Suddenly, the world became pink! It wasn't just about the colour, though, it was about the freedom, the self-expression! I was hooked! The moment I sashayed across the university stage in that charity tutu...well, let's just say that was a turning point.
Now, where were we? Oh yes! Leicester. So, we're going to Leicester, and I've got this magnificent new pink creation with more sparkle than a Christmas tree on the first of December! This trip is a little different because I've booked a real performance at a local theatre - and not just any theatre. You see, my dear lovelies, we're stepping onto the stage with the world-renowned Leicester Ballet! Don't be alarmed, though! They know what I'm bringing to the show: a dose of playful magic and fabulousness to the classic moves they do so beautifully. You see, Pink Tutu Sparkles likes to think of her performances as a bridge between worlds – the whimsical and the grand! And I can’t wait to do my part for the Leicester audience!
Speaking of travels, my lovelies, we’re going by train! It's so relaxing, it lets me dream up my next act, maybe even sketch it in my fabulous notebook with my feather pen! I don’t need a driver or to worry about gas – it’s like being whisked away into a fantasy land! You could call me old-fashioned, but I find such joy in that chugging rhythm, you know, just like in a grand fairy tale. And besides, have you seen my carriage luggage? It’s a bit like an oversized wardrobe!
The hotel is ready for me! This is no ordinary establishment either – imagine a boudoir fit for a princess, complete with a balcony and an absolutely glorious bathtub. Of course, they were ready to cater to the star they were expecting – who else but me, your favourite queen! I know what you’re thinking. You might be picturing a vintage tea-cup style tub, covered in lace and overflowing with roses? Think again, honey! This is more like a Grecian marble masterpiece with hidden speakers for my tunes while I soak! And don’t even get me started on the selection of bath salts!
Now, enough about myself! I know you want the inside scoop on this exciting trip, right? Well, I’ve been scouring the local markets – trust me, darling, nothing less will do! – and it’s a fashion wonderland! I'm hoping to find a little somethin' somethin' for my collection – maybe even a bit of lace to add to my very special pink tutu project for my upcoming tour… shh, it’s a secret!
Speaking of special, my darlings, this is all about the people I will meet in Leicester. Who’s going to have the bravery to share the spotlight with me, right there on stage at that beautiful, grand theatre? Who knows, perhaps I might even spot a few tutus in the audience! I always do. Don't you worry, I’m prepared. I’ve packed extra tutus for any curious fans – it's all part of my grand plan to spread the joy of tutus.
