Hello darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and oh my, this week has been a whirl of pink feathers, sequins, and some truly sensational ballet.
First off, can we just acknowledge how utterly chic Hove is? I swear, it’s got more boutique shops per square foot than anywhere else in the entire South East.
Travels on the Rails
I’m telling you, you haven’t truly lived until you’ve hitched a ride on the train in your full regalia. Let’s just say that the commuters on my carriage were very impressed. One gentleman, bless him, even offered to take my picture – he said he’d never seen a pink tutu quite like mine. Oh, to be a ray of sartorial sunshine!
Speaking of sunshine, Hove was basking in it all weekend! And speaking of basking, how divine are those little tea shops lining the street? I had the most exquisite Victoria sponge with a dollop of clotted cream, accompanied by a pot of steaming Earl Grey. Heaven.
A Ballet-ific Spectacle!
The real highlight, though, was the ballet performance on Friday night. My goodness, you’ve never seen so many pirouettes and leaps! The grace of these dancers was quite literally breath-taking. It's been such a long time since I was at the university ballet club (and even longer since I last tried on a tutu – that’s when it all started!), but the memory came flooding back! You really can’t beat the feeling of tulle billowing out, the glitter sparkling under the stage lights. Pure magic, darlings, pure magic!
A Splash of Pink for the Sussex Coast!
You’d never believe this, but I even ended up with a few eager souls who signed up for Pink Tutu Workshops after the show. Let’s just say that a pink tutu makes you feel powerful. Like, you can tackle anything – from conquering a split leap to taking on the world in your fabulously fluffy getup. And who wouldn’t want that?!
And for my other super special sparkly fans, I’ll be posting a full photo shoot of the Hove Ballet adventure. Get ready for a flood of glitter-bomb selfies, darlings!
Sharing the Sparkle
There's something special about taking my Pink Tutu Sparkles joy and bringing it to new audiences. Seeing the smiles on the faces of children who get a glimpse of my outfit… and the look of utter amazement on adults who get caught in the magic, makes my heart absolutely swell. I always knew that sharing a little bit of Pink Tutu magic was a recipe for joy. And believe me, I'm all about that joie de vivre.
