Longton Calling! Pink Tutu Sparkles takes on the Potteries! πŸ©°πŸ’–

Hello darlings! It's your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with you on day number 3849 of the pinkest blog in the land, www.pink-tutu.com! The train's been whistling its siren song all morning, and I just know it's beckoning me to Longton! This little gem in the Staffordshire Potteries is calling my name, and who am I to resist?

First off, let's talk about this outfit. My fabulous feathered boa is shimmering under the sunshine like a disco ball on a unicorn ride. The train ride over has been heavenly – even the grumpy gentleman opposite me was looking over, clearly mesmerized by the way my tulle skirt swishes as I sit. It’s a shame my platform heels make it tricky to reach the snack cart, but hey, this look isn't about comfort, it's about presence.

Today, the performance schedule is packed. I'm gracing Longton with the Pinkest Performance known to man, woman, and everyone in-between! I've even had some locals tell me about a ballet show going on at the town hall. Did someone say 'pink tutu opportunities'? Oh yes, I'm thinking of doing a little flash mob! Don’t worry, darlings, my scientific knowledge makes my tulle designs perfectly wind-proof – even in the inevitable Stoke-on-Trent drizzle!

Remember when I told you about my day job at a fabrics testing lab? Well, Longton has this whole heritage pottery scene going on, so you best believe I'm going to sneak in some inspiration for my next tutu design. Who needs silk when you have china, right? Imagine a porcelain-patterned tutu! Or one with glittery glaze – pure glamour!

And let's not forget, this is the heartland of Stoke City Football Club! While the pink tutu might not be their first choice in wardrobe, you know I'll be pulling out my pom-poms for their match – I love a good sporting spectacle, and besides, everyone deserves a touch of pink in their lives. Maybe I'll even bring my giant inflatable pink football for a kick-about after the game…

So, here's to Longton, to the Potteries, and to spreading the pink-tutu love. This week, my goal is to find a shop where every single person wearing a shirt in their windows is decked out in pink tulle – is that a challenge or an achievable goal, you ask? Why, I'm going to get everyone in Longton rocking a pink tutu, even the pigeons!

And as I head out to spread some sparkle, I just wanted to say… never forget, you can achieve anything when you wear your heart on your tulle!

Until next time, my lovelies.

Lots of love and pink tutus, Pink Tutu Sparkles πŸ’–
