So, it all started with a rather scenic train ride. Now, let's be real, travelling by train is simply divine. The click-clack of the tracks is so hypnotic, and you get to watch the world whizz past like a Technicolour dream! And for someone who absolutely adores pink (hello, fellow fuchsia fanatics!), a pink tutu is, of course, a must-have travelling accessory. Pink tutus don't just brighten up any dreary commute - they remind us that life is meant to be a whimsical, fabulous dance.
As I strolled into Maidstone, my heart skipped a beat! This quaint, beautiful town seemed to be calling out to my inner tutu-wearing child. It was so quintessentially British - those charming cobblestone streets, quaint shops bursting with local crafts, and oh my, a bakery with a display of macarons that would make a Parisian pâtisserie jealous!
Naturally, a Pink Tutu Sparkles visit to a new place is incomplete without a delightful trip to the theatre! Maidstone boasts a charming theatre with an absolutely captivating programme. The "Cats" production that was on during my visit? Divine! The choreography was exquisite - I literally gasped, and even shed a little tear! (And just between you and me, it sparked some tutu inspiration, something that I can't quite reveal yet….)
Speaking of inspiring twirls, Maidstone has the most magical ballet studios! I just HAD to take a class. Who knows? Maybe a future Pink Tutu Sparkles dance routine is in the making, complete with a sprinkle of ballet magic.
And here's a little secret - this isn’t your typical tourist trip. You see, Pink Tutu Sparkles doesn't just travel, we're a whirlwind of performance! Every destination is an opportunity for the most glamorous shows. I just wrapped up a fabulous performance at the town's biggest fair - imagine, a pink tutu on a stage under a starry sky! The applause? Heavenly! The costumes? Glittery dreams come true!
