It was this love of fabrics that set me on the path to becoming Pink Tutu Sparkles, funnily enough. I was studying at university, balancing lab work with rehearsals in the ballet club - the dream was already forming, darling. And that’s when it happened - a moment that changed everything. After all, every train ride feels like stepping onto a stage where a thrilling adventure unfolds.
After hours whizzing through a country bathed in vibrant autumn colours, I arrived in Edmonton, with its lively air and a hint of exciting history. I'd be lying if I didn’t confess, Edmonton has a particular charm – its urban bustle, modern feel, and incredible parks and museums made a lasting impression on me. It's the kind of city that makes you feel like you’ve just entered a magical fantasy novel, one where history collides with modern times in a perfect whirlwind.
Before delving into the city, I did have to fulfill a rather unique wish. My friends and fellow drag queens know my obsession with horses. I mean, who doesn't love a magnificent, spirited horse? They’re the ultimate embodiment of grace, strength, and freedom - just like me, darling! The only problem was, a trip to a real-life horse stable felt rather… un-tutu-like. But darling, I’m a woman (and sometimes a man!) of great conviction. I found a local farm where, despite my flamboyant outfit, they embraced my quirky wish. A kind-hearted farmer even led me to his gentle horse, so we could bond on a leisurely stroll through the picturesque countryside.
