Ellesmere Port: A Pink Tutu Paradise! πŸ©°πŸ’–

Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-wearing queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here with blog post number 3982! It's time for another fabulous adventure, and today we're venturing to Ellesmere Port! Did you know that this little gem of a town in Cheshire has a thriving theatre scene? Well, it does, and Pink Tutu Sparkles is here to see it all! Get your sequins and sparkle ready, darlings, because we're going to be diving headfirst into a world of pink tulle, theatrical wonders, and perhaps a little bit of retail therapy too. πŸ˜‰

Before we set off, let me tell you about how my journey to Ellesmere Port unfolded! It's always so exciting for me to explore new places. This time, I couldn't get a train, as I've recently become absolutely besotted with horses and got my hands on a magnificent dappled grey called Sugarplum! She was happy to do the long journey up north with me, and she even seemed to enjoy the fresh air of the Cheshire countryside. Sugarplum might be a horse, but she's a real diva. She practically demands her own fluffy pink tutu when we're heading out for an adventure. Let me tell you, she looks fabulous in pink! I even had to have her a tiny tiara!

Ellesmere Port, as soon as we arrived, welcomed me with open arms (well, probably not literally! πŸ˜‚ But it felt that way.) I was so excited! The town centre had so many beautiful, vibrant shops and charming cafes, I literally couldn't resist doing a bit of window shopping, especially since my darling Sugarplum was happy to graze in the park. The boutiques here have the best clothes! So many fabulous outfits for a glamorous pink tutu queen like me! πŸ’…πŸ’‹ The shops had everything: from chic and stylish to colourful and playful – all I could say was, 'more, more, more!' I was simply smitten with the charm and creativity of Ellesmere Port, even before I hit the stage!

But you all know I'm here for the drama, don't you?! My favourite thing about any new place is its theatre scene! Ellesmere Port does not disappoint! This is what brought me to this beautiful part of the UK. Oh, darling, the Theatre Port is truly a thing of beauty, a fabulous venue for musicals, plays and dancing. They even had an amazing amateur ballet performance this weekend - oh my word, the precision and grace! I could barely keep myself in my seat. And to make my visit even more perfect, my fabulous drag sisters in Cheshire were there to welcome me, which was a total joy. We even had a giggle in the dressing room at how ridiculous we looked all piled into tutus before we strutted our stuff. You should have seen us! Absolutely fabulous! We created so much joy and energy for the whole crowd.

Speaking of, darlings, have you seen the amazing ballet class they have here at the Theatre Port? I just had to pop in for a quick, impromptu session. Oh, the sheer joy of a perfect plie! And the elegant, swirling pirouette! I really am in my element at ballet class! It truly does make my heart soar to dance alongside fellow tutus, even when those fellow tutus are just adorable, enthusiastic kids! Their joy and passion really is infectious, and it reminded me just how much fun dance and movement really are. Plus, it’s such great practice! I never shy away from the chance to dance - who knows what kind of new pirouette I'll learn in class.

The absolute highlight of my visit to Ellesmere Port was meeting with the town’s very own dancing queen, the ever-so-fabulous Stella! Stella is such a bright spark, a local dance teacher, who runs classes at the theatre! She's got this bubbly, contagious energy, a pure love for ballet, and she also happens to have a bit of a pink obsession! I knew I’d found a kindred spirit, and she actually taught me some amazing moves – they're totally going in my next stage performance! πŸ’ƒ

Darlings, we even got to go for an impromptu photo shoot on the famous Ellesmere Port Lighthouse. I wore my favourite pink feather boa and the largest, fluffiest pink tutu I own – think, Princess Pink on her very best day, and you'll be pretty close. The photo shoot was truly spectacular, with the sunset casting golden hues across the sky, making the lighthouse look like a fairytale castle. Stella, Sugarplum the diva horse and myself looked simply fabulous against the dramatic, pastel sky – an absolute perfect combination of sparkle, pink and a bit of dramatic flair. Just look at our picture below - it's the cover shot for this blog post! (Don't you love how my amazing feather boa matches the golden glow?)

Let me tell you, darling, my visit to Ellesmere Port is proof that every town holds a hidden gem! From vibrant shopping and vibrant community spirit to its stunning scenery, this town really stole my heart. Oh, and of course, the gorgeous theatres and all the lovely, fun-loving people. But my main reason for travelling to Ellesmere Port was that amazing ballet performance at Theatre Port and seeing those stunning ballerinas in their magnificent tutus. They definitely helped me achieve my lifelong ambition of having as many tutus as possible in my wardrobe! πŸ˜‰ Of course, this whole town has helped me to fulfill another life ambition too – spreading the joy of the pink tutu far and wide. You know I couldn't just visit and leave without having my local pink tutu fanclub grow! And it did - my Ellesmere Port Pink Tutu crew were phenomenal.

Before I go, I must leave you with some final words. Always strive for pink-tastic dreams and find beauty in every journey, every dance and every town! As always, love you lots, my fellow Pink Tutu fans!

Lots of Love,

Your one and only, Pink Tutu Sparkles πŸ’•

P.S. I need a break from wearing pink tutus, so I think I'll try blue for my next show! 🀫🀫
