Hello my darlings! 💖 Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back from another fabulously fun adventure! Today we're talking Folkestone!
Folkestone has such a sweet seaside charm, reminding me of all the days I'd spend as a little boy building sandcastles and dreaming of twirling in the wind (wearing my imaginary tutu of course! 😉) I haven't visited the Kent coast in years, but this trip has made me fall in love with it all over again.
So, you're all wondering... how did Pink Tutu Sparkles get to Folkestone? Well, let me tell you, my lovelies, it was a grand, glamorous journey! I took the train down from Derbyshire, nestled in my plush velvet seat, the wind whipping through the countryside as I gazed out of the window in a dreamy pink daze. The carriages were a rainbow of personalities, and I managed to steal a quick outfit inspiration from a lady in a gorgeous silk scarf. Who knows, maybe it will feature in my next show! 😉
After arriving in Folkestone, the smell of fresh salty air and the sight of the ocean in its full glory brought a happy sigh from my very pink lips. I knew then that Folkestone would be my happy place for a while!
First things first, my darlings! We've gotta talk tutus! You know I can't go anywhere without a stunningly fabulous tutu! I popped into the lovely local fabric shop - a proper treasure trove - and managed to snag a beautiful piece of silk in the most amazing shade of lilac. Don't you just adore a bit of lilac, darlings? It's so whimsical, don't you think? 😉 I've already got the perfect image for my new lilac creation; a cascading waterfall of layers ending in a cloud of feather-light tulle. Now, that's what I call tutu magic! ✨
Now, Folkestone itself was just... magical. I wandered through the town centre, enjoying the hustle and bustle, the charming shops and cafes, all with the most stunning backdrop of the English Channel. 🌊 I even spotted a beautiful old carousel in a little corner, a reminder of fairytales and magical days gone by. Can't you imagine me performing my 'Sparkling Rainbow' act on one of those magnificent steeds, surrounded by happy, giggling children and thrilled adults?! That would be absolute perfection, my darlings! 💖
The evenings in Folkestone were just as delightful. One night I saw a spectacular ballet performance in a quaint little theatre, mesmerized by the delicate movements of the dancers. And oh my! Talk about inspiration! It got my creative juices flowing and I'm already planning some new routines for my next big performance! 😉
The next day, I found myself strolling along the beach, the sand crunching beneath my sparkling heels (because, honestly, even at the beach, one has to look chic!), and the sound of seagulls filling the air. A perfect location for my photo shoot, I thought! A few snaps with the stunning ocean behind me, a perfect setting for my fabulous pink tutu (of course!) This shot will go down in history!
The icing on the cake was the local arts festival - Folkestone Fringe. I have to say, my darlings, it was a celebration of pure talent! There were musicians, actors, dancers, everything! I felt right at home amongst such creative energy! I even found myself inspired to create a special act dedicated to the people of Folkestone. Imagine it: "Pink Tutu Sparkles, celebrating Folkestone Fringe." It would be truly spectacular!
As my trip came to an end, my heart was heavy to leave this little seaside gem. I promise, darlings, this is not goodbye - it's just au revoir. I'll be back, Folkestone, to share more smiles and sparkle! 💖
