Hello darlings! It's your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, reporting from the lovely, seaside town of Blyth, ready to dazzle you all with my latest adventures!
Post number 4056, and still going strong, my lovelies! You know I couldn't possibly leave you without a blog post for even a single day! So, without further ado, let me tell you all about my amazing trip to Blyth, which took me there by horse and cart, no less! 😉 (Yes, I am that glam, and a touch whimsical!)
Blyth is such a quaint town with a real seafaring history, which I'm a bit obsessed with right now! I mean, tutud-a-doo! Have you ever considered what a sea captain would look like in a pink tutu? Maybe I need to try it out, and get my own Captain Tutu Sparkles getup together. Think sea-themed sparkles, and a tutu made of satin, and little shell ornaments! 🌊✨ 💖
It is truly breathtaking down by the harbour, though perhaps a touch breezy for a pink tutu - but then I am not afraid to show off my leggy bits, darling! A quick whirl or two on the breezy seafront is just a touch of fun, and lets not forget that I'm wearing my sparkly platform shoes, darling! You could hear those shoes clinking all over the seafront from miles away! 💖💖
Speaking of the seafront, my darlings! Do you want to hear a funny story about how I managed to score a fantastic free cuppa in Blyth? Well, here it goes! Now, if you're familiar with my adventures, you'll know that I love to shop and I always make sure to scour local stores for bargains! I discovered this tiny, adorable tea room with shelves overflowing with vintage china teacups, and the prettiest cake selection ever - all shades of pink of course! It was pure sugary bliss! Now, while I was browsing (looking oh-so-divine in my gorgeous tulle, natch!) the owner spotted me and insisted I try out a little dance. The next thing I knew I was whipping up a mini Pink Tutu Sparkles performance, to a whole tea room filled with ladies, some dressed in frilly pink outfits themselves. I think my little show had them all mesmerized, and needless to say, I got a free tea and scone! I was truly chuffed!
Before you all start wondering how I managed to transport all that deliciousness in my sparkly little luggage, I do have a secret: My favourite form of travel is by horse and cart, as you know, and I often find that, a nice long, breezy, carriage ride, encourages kindness, even when my sparkly suitcases start to fall out! 😅😂
But darling, this isn't even half of the adventures that my Blyth visit had to offer! As a fabulous tutu-loving soul, you can imagine I just had to take a ballet class in the local hall, which, I have to say, felt utterly charming, especially as it was set up in a beautifully preserved, grand old Victorian schoolroom, where the windows overlooked the harbour! Imagine my glee - ballet, the seaside, sparkly outfits, what could possibly be better? I found the class wonderfully relaxing and it really let me get those creative tutu-tastic juices flowing! 💃✨
Then, my darlings, I found myself whisked off to see a gorgeous musical show that night in the town's wonderful old theatre. Oh, my lovelies, the costumes were beyond divine! Imagine, they even had a giant, glittering tutu, sparkling on a chandelier! My heart skipped a beat! All the while, my pink tulle felt so wonderful against the theatre's dark, velvety red seats - perfect! 💕🌟
Don't even get me started on how I turned a few heads as I danced my way to the stage door at the end of the night to get some photos! 💖 The backstage crew were so incredibly lovely! And oh my, the actors and dancers - pure enchantment! I felt so glamorous and I knew the moment I got home I would be buying some new, show-stopping sparkly embellishments, because even Pink Tutu Sparkles has to keep her act current, you know! 😊😂
Oh! I forgot to mention my fabulous encounter with the lovely Mrs. Cartwright, who works at a tiny little bookshop with the cutest pink exterior, just a hop, skip, and a glittery tutu step away from the town hall! This delightful woman, with her auburn curls, just loved my tutu. She had a fascinating book about ballet dancers and was delighted to meet a genuine Pink Tutu Sparkles in person! Needless to say, my little performance there - a few pirouettes and some fancy footwork, and she became my newest Pink Tutu Sparkles fan! 🙌🤩
To be honest, I'm thinking about returning for another trip, just for the cake and the theatre! It's not every day I get the opportunity to do something so completely fab! Plus, it might give me the perfect opportunity to whip up a few new Pink Tutu Sparkles outfits! Who knows, maybe I can convince the townsfolk to wear pink tutus! 💁🏼♀️🥰
