Kendal Calling! ๐Ÿฉฐ๐ŸŒธ

Hello my lovely Tutu Queens! ๐Ÿ’– This is post number 4098 on www.pink-tutu.com, and today we're heading north! That's right, your favourite pink tutu-wearing drag artist is taking the Kendal Calling festival by storm! ๐Ÿš‚

This fabulous event in the Lake District is absolutely my cup of tea. I mean, how could a girl who lives for pink tutus, sparkly shoes, and a good show resist a festival like this? ๐Ÿคฉ It's got all the ingredients for a perfect weekend: live music, theatre, dance, arts, crafts, food, and of course, plenty of opportunities to spread the pink tutu love!

Let's backtrack a bit, shall we? rewind โช I was super excited for this trip from the moment I booked the train tickets. Nothing beats the feeling of travelling by train! I had plenty of time to admire my outfit - a custom-made pink tutu adorned with fluffy pink feathers, a matching sparkly pink crop top, and knee-high glitter boots, all topped off with my signature giant pink bow hairpiece! ๐ŸŽ€ The best part? I was allowed to bring a big suitcase with all my gorgeous outfits, which is always a bonus when it comes to a weekend packed with performances.

Speaking of outfits, Kendal Calling was a whirlwind of creativity! ๐ŸŒˆ I had a whole closet of pink tutus to choose from! I'm talking bright bubblegum pink, a classic soft pink, even a daring neon pink for the final show. It's not every day I get to go all out with my outfits, but a festival is the perfect excuse! There were people in all sorts of wild and wacky costumes - some amazing, some slightly questionable - but you know what? It's all part of the fun. It's all about embracing self-expression!

This trip reminded me of how much joy the colour pink brings me, both in my daily life and on stage. Pink is just so vibrant and uplifting, it always makes me feel so happy! ๐Ÿ’“ It reminds me of ballet, childhood innocence, and just general sparkly-bright happiness. Honestly, I believe pink has magical powers! It can make you feel confident, courageous, and ready to take on the world!

But the highlight of this Kendal Calling experience was definitely my performances! ๐ŸŽค I had three shows across the weekend, from a quirky, little family-friendly "pink tutu party" to a more high-energy set in the main stage area. You've never seen so many pink tutus in your life! People were taking pictures with me, laughing, dancing, and even wearing their own tutus to show their support! ๐Ÿ’• It truly melted my heart, and I think I might have shed a few sparkly tears during those last bows.

Between shows, I managed to take in a few of the festival's amazing events. The main stage was fantastic - I especially loved the acts that combined theatricality and music, something I can really relate to! โœจ And of course, no trip to the Lake District would be complete without a wander around the beautiful landscape! I snapped a few pictures wearing my sparkly pink tutu, making a dramatic silhouette against the lush greenery! ๐Ÿ“ธ

Kendal Calling was a wild ride, a wonderful mix of creativity, music, and fun! But what made it truly special were all the people who came together to celebrate everything fabulous! ๐Ÿ’• My Tutu Queens were there, dancing their hearts out, and honestly, that's what it's all about. We need more opportunities to wear pink tutus and share joy with the world. ๐Ÿ’–

Keep spreading the pink tutu love! ๐Ÿฉฐโœจ And I'll catch you next time, from the next exciting location. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Much Love,

Pink Tutu Sparkles ๐Ÿ˜˜
