As a self-proclaimed Queen of the Rails, there's nothing quite like settling into a comfy carriage with a good book and a glass of bubbly, watching the world flit by. It's all part of the Pink Tutu Sparkles travel experience, you see! This time, however, I had to bring out the Pink Tutu Sparkles on Tour special travel tutu. Let's face it, no one's gonna be staring out of their window if you're not rocking a pink tulle masterpiece, darling!
Oxford, my dears, was pure enchantment. Those ancient colleges, cobbled streets, and the majestic River Thames... I almost got swept away by a flock of tourists admiring the beauty! 🦆🏰💖 I even spotted a young student attempting to waltz down the street in his graduation gown, like he was at a fancy dress ball! Oh, how I wished I could've twirled him around to show him some proper ballroom moves! ✨
Of course, no trip to Oxford would be complete without a dose of ballet. So, I just had to pop into the famous Oxford Playhouse for their production of Swan Lake. Talk about a feather-light performance! Those swans danced with such grace and elegance, they practically levitated! 💖🦢 And of course, I was completely mesmerized by the gorgeous tutus, especially those gorgeous white tutus. And just you wait, because I've got my eyes on some gorgeous swan-inspired creations to twirl in on my next tour! 😉
I even had a fabulous time browsing through some of the delightful boutiques tucked away in the Oxford Lanes. Let me tell you, some of those sparkling treasures nearly gave me a sugar rush! Imagine this, darling: an extra-long, neon-pink tutu, a bedazzled pair of ballet pumps and a top hat with feathers... it's enough to give any queen a reason to celebrate! 🎉
But the highlight of my trip, darling? It has to be my visit to the Ashmolean Museum. They have a fantastic collection of fashion and art, you see. I even found a beautiful embroidered pink silk jacket from the 18th century! Now that's some vintage couture, wouldn't you say? 👗👑💖
And let's talk about the food, darlings! I treated myself to the most divine afternoon tea at a charming café overlooking the River Thames. And, just imagine this: crumpets topped with smoked salmon and tea brewed from the most beautiful pink roses. Swoon! 🌹🫖💖
I'm not sure I could ever have asked for a more fabulous trip. It was a truly pinktastic adventure! 💖
