Oh darlings! You wouldn't believe the absolute fabulousness of my trip to Stourbridge last night! 💖 It was just so lovely to swap my lab coat for a sparkly pink tutu and perform for a crowd of excited faces. As always, it felt utterly magical to step onto the stage and bring a little bit of Pink Tutu magic to the world!
You know, dear readers, I've been blessed with an incredible life. By day, I analyse fabrics in a scientific laboratory. Honestly, you wouldn't believe the crazy things they make me test these days! There was this one polyester fabric... I swear it could make a squirrel jump out of its own skin! 🧪
But when the sun sets, and the lab lights go out, I transform into Pink Tutu Sparkles! A truly breathtaking vision of shimmering pink glory, ready to shimmy and shake and make the world sparkle! 💅
Stourbridge, as you might know, is a delightful little town nestled in the West Midlands, and I simply adore exploring these charming corners of Britain! The train ride was a delight! Honestly, darlings, who wouldn't be tempted to leave a bit of pink magic on a train ride? The carriage practically giggled with joy at my arrival, decked out in my latest couture creation. Pink feathers, a splash of diamanté, and a tutu that would make a ballerina jealous! 🚂
Now, Stourbridge itself was a little slice of paradise! I simply couldn't resist exploring the picturesque cobblestone streets lined with delightful shops, their windows bursting with bright colours and intriguing trinkets. You can bet I snagged some utterly darling pink fascinators! Pink is the colour of joy, darlings, and the only thing brighter than my pink tulle is my heart, bursting with excitement about spreading joy through the power of glitter and sequins! 👑
The venue for the show was this fantastic old theatre, with a little bit of a faded grandeur that just whispered of magical evenings and fabulous performers. You know, darlings, a vintage feel is perfect for Pink Tutu. I even spotted a little group of girls dressed in fluffy tutus, just the cutest thing, I absolutely adore a good ballerina! 🥰 They looked like a mini ballet class in their adorable pink and blue leotards, and their wide-eyed enthusiasm reminded me of why I fell in love with all things sparkle and sequins in the first place.
Of course, darling, the show was fantastic! I took the stage to a chorus of cheers and laughter and performed my signature Pink Tutu number – think graceful ballerina moves combined with the joyous abandon of a popstar on the top of the charts, all set to the dazzlingly pink lighting I insisted upon! Oh, and don't even get me started on the finale! The glitter cannon went off and I'm sure even the old theatre lights blushed! The applause at the end was practically deafening, and for those precious moments, it felt as if the whole world was bathed in the pink light of joy! ✨
Later, I enjoyed a quick pit stop for tea and cake (pink and white of course, what else would you expect? And yes, my afternoon tea did have miniature tutu-shaped sugar cakes! ), followed by a charming dinner at a little pub in town, where I even taught the pub manager some delightful waltz moves! 💖
