Bishops Stortford, what a treat! I was there for the weekend, you see, performing at a smashing local festival. It was a real blast, and oh darling, did you know they have the cutest little boutiques in the centre? My heart was just overflowing with delight! I snagged a couple of divine dresses and some fabulous shoes that, well, you’ll just have to wait for the outfit post – you know, after the glam shot! 💋
But first, let me tell you about my journey! You see, I'm quite partial to a train journey when I can, and this one didn't disappoint. It's all about the little things, isn't it? I tucked into my usual travel routine, complete with a pink polka dot flask and a bag of sweeties. Oh, the joy of travelling with the windows down and a gentle breeze tickling my face. Did you know, darling, I always bring along my ballet slippers? Even a quick practise session on the platform keeps the magic of movement alive, even while on the move!
The Venue, The Vibe, and Oh My Tutu 💖
The festival itself was just brimming with a delightful sense of fun, you see! So much vibrancy, so many lovely smiles, and oh, so many colourful outfits. But naturally, you already know I wasn't the only one rocking a tutu. The Festival organisers encouraged a "Pink Paradise" dress code – absolutely fab! A couple of young girls came up to me after the show – all eyes twinkling, dressed up in tutus too! They just melted my heart. It truly warmed my soul, you see, it really made my day. My mission to spread the love of the pink tutu knows no bounds!
The Performances and The Power of Pink 💫
After a good warm-up (and a bit of a tutu adjustment!) I was ready to go. My routine was inspired by my recent ballet class – you see, I am truly obsessed! I love to fuse ballet movements with my performance art. The way it feels – strong, graceful, captivating – it makes me so happy, so alive. My audience, my darlings, went wild! The cheers and applause? Absolutely electrifying! You see, I thrive on the joy and energy I can create with a single dance.
My Big City Escape and Tutu Shop Time! 🛍️
After the show, it was time to escape to the bigger city. Did you know Bishops Stortford is a lovely little town, but just a stone's throw from London? I felt the need to indulge in some retail therapy and a taste of the city. Let me tell you, my dear lovelies, I was in a tutu shopping haven. You can just imagine, the exquisite silk gowns, the flamboyant jewels – the sparkle just fills my heart. Did you know, dear ones, that a little trip to Harrods is a must when in the big city?

Now, my darlings, you all know my absolute passion for pink. It's a colour of dreams, you see, a celebration of everything bright and beautiful, of pure unadulterated fun and joy!
