This time, the magic train is taking me to the lovely little town of Coalville, right here in our gorgeous Derbyshire! Can you believe it's my first time visiting? Well, never fear, my little tutu-loving cherubs, Pink Tutu Sparkles is on the case, ready to uncover all the pink and sparkly delights Coalville has to offer!
As always, my trusty pink luggage is packed to the brim with a magnificent selection of twirling-worthy tutus. Itās just as well, too, because this trip promises to be jam-packed with exciting adventures, fabulous performances, and even a bit of impromptu ballet! But before we set off on our magical tour, letās have a quick chat about my journey.
A Fairy Tale Travel Adventure
You know I love nothing more than a train ride! The gentle sway of the carriage, the melodic clatter of the tracks, and the opportunity to chat with fellow travellers all make for a truly wonderful experience. My pink polka-dot dress, specially chosen for the journey, swayed with the train, catching the eye of fellow passengers. One lovely gentleman even offered to pay for my afternoon tea - talk about a lovely chap!
It wouldn't be a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure without a little bit of horse-drawn whimsy! I must confess, I couldn't resist hiring a carriage for a tour around the picturesque countryside leading into Coalville. I felt like Cinderella herself, all twirling in my pink tulle, with the sun sparkling in my sparkly crown and the wind whipping through my shimmering tulle. You just can't beat a romantic carriage ride with the sunshine on your face, and my new friend the carriage driver (whose name is, wouldn't you know it, Barnaby) gave me some fabulous insider tips on the best spots to visit in Coalville!
Stepping Out in Style
Of course, no trip is complete without a little bit of shopping, and my dear Coalville didnāt disappoint! The charming shops were a riot of colour and fun, brimming with adorable trinkets and oh-so-pretty pink accessories! Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon a vintage shop bursting with feather boas, sequined headbands, and - get this - a genuine Victorian pink tutu! I nabbed it for a steal, naturally. I mean, who can resist a vintage tutu? Iām thinking a new act inspired by the era, but thatās another blog for another day!
Ballet & Beyond: The Magic of Coalville
Coalville itself has this delightful charm that immediately captures the heart! From the historic market square, bursting with colour and bustle, to the grand theatre, ready to welcome every sparkly spectacle, Coalville truly is a delightful mix of old-world elegance and modern vibrancy!
Of course, I wouldnāt be Pink Tutu Sparkles if I didnāt pop into a local ballet studio! And guess what, I found a lovely class ā āBallet in the Afternoonā ā perfect for a queen like me! The class was absolutely divine, filled with the most beautiful and elegant ladies, who were so welcoming! I felt right at home, even managed to show off my famous Tutu-Twirl which had everyone in stitches! You'll just have to watch my Instagram for the highlight video ā letās just say it was epic!
The Sparkle of Coalville - Performance Time!
Now, darling, you know how I love to share my magic with everyone! Iāll be lighting up Coalvilleās Grand Theatre on Friday night! Iām putting on a grand show for all you lovely folk who adore all things twirly, shiny, and pink! Imagine an extravaganza of twirls, sparkles, and surprises, set to the most magical music! Iāve been working on my routines, whipping up the perfect costume combination for my Coalville audience, and honestly? It's going to be epic!
The night wouldnāt be complete without a fab-u-lous costume party after the show, with tutus galore, and a delightful mix of pink cocktails and dancing, weāll be painting Coalville pink! Can't wait to meet everyone!
