My journey began bright and early this morning. A cuppa and a croissant in hand, I bid farewell to my Derbyshire haven, ready to embrace the magic of a train ride. Oh, how I love the romance of the railway! A carriage all to myself, a little book (Jane Austen, naturally), and a view of the ever-changing countryside… pure bliss. I couldn't resist a cheeky photo of my pink tutu perched on the window seat, a little cheeky reminder that wherever I go, a touch of pink sparkle is sure to follow!
Leighton Buzzard: A Charm-Filled Destination
Leighton Buzzard greeted me with open arms, its cobblestone streets filled with a quaint charm that instantly stole my heart. I felt a little like I’d stepped out of a Jane Austen novel, complete with horse-drawn carriages and friendly faces! But even though it felt straight out of a period piece, the town buzzed with a modern vibrancy too – there was even a cute little shop brimming with tutus! It's amazing how even the smallest towns can have a sprinkle of tutu magic.
A Tutu-ific Fashion Adventure!
Before hitting the stage, I had to make a detour for some serious fashion therapy. Now, let me tell you, this town knows how to work some serious sparkle! I discovered a fabulous vintage boutique crammed with sequined gowns, feather boas, and even a pair of emerald green high heels that would make Cinderella weep! Naturally, I had to grab a few things - my fabulous stage attire is always evolving, after all!
Performing at The Moonstone
This evening, I took the stage at The Moonstone, a delightful local venue known for its friendly crowd and eclectic vibes. The energy was fantastic – the audience loved the pink tutus and laughed along with my every pun! It felt fantastic to share my passion for glitter and glamour with a new audience.
Ballet Inspiration in Buckinghamshire
As a girl who believes there’s a tutu for every occasion, it felt right to spend my time in Leighton Buzzard celebrating all things ballet! The town boasts a beautiful ballet school with talented dancers – a perfect opportunity to feel inspired! They even held a charity performance with a fabulous, whimsical "Alice in Wonderland" theme! It was captivating – the young dancers twirling and leaping with such grace, and of course, there were tutus, plenty of them!

Leighton Buzzard has truly stolen a piece of my heart! The town's charm, its community spirit, and, of course, its love for sparkly fashion has inspired me.
