I never thought I’d have this many blog posts under my pink tutu-ed belt when I first started out. 😉 But like they say, "To infinity and beyond!" and "Pink is the new black!", right? 💅
Today's adventure? It's the beautiful and bustling Pontypridd! I arrived last night after a wonderful train journey, all adorned in my most fabulous pink ensemble - a tutu, naturally, in the most vibrant shade of hot pink with a sprinkle of sparkle, a fluffy pink feather boa, and a sparkling, pink sequined top. It just wouldn’t do to arrive in Pontypridd looking anything less than fabulous, would it? 😉
Pink Tutu Sparkles Adventures: You know, I really love traveling by train. It's the perfect opportunity to admire the scenery, people watch, and let my inner fashionista take the lead. I can wear my biggest and most fabulous outfits and nobody bats an eyelid! It's a real dream come true for a pink-loving diva like myself. The journey from Derbyshire was filled with sunshine, fields of yellow sunflowers, and the sweetest smell of autumn leaves, making my heart flutter like a ballerina’s feet!
I must confess, this journey was even more special, as it was filled with a touch of fairy-tale magic! On a whim, I decided to try travelling by horse. Yes, you read that right! The stable I contacted offered a magical journey from the edge of Pontypridd to the centre, passing through beautiful green valleys. It was exhilarating! The gentle gait of the horse beneath me and the fresh air were intoxicating. It made me feel like a true princess from a fair-tale! And, my dear friends, if there is one thing I adore, it is being a princess.
The people of Pontypridd are, as always, so warm and welcoming! I was met at the station by a group of fans holding their handmade “Pink Tutu Sparkles!” signs. Some even had little pink tutus on their own furry friends. I swear, you guys just make my heart sing! One lovely couple even gifted me with a plate of delicious, freshly-baked pink fairy cakes!
Pink Tutu Sparkles is always working: I wouldn’t be Pink Tutu Sparkles without a good performance under my sequined belt. You know me! I wouldn’t travel all this way without spreading some joy and sparkle wherever I go.
I started my evening at the lovely Pontypridd Fair! Oh my, it was so exciting! The smells of churros, freshly popped popcorn, and hot doughnuts filled the air as I twirled through the throng of eager onlookers. My stage was a bright red, double-decker bus, adorned with fairy lights and flowers, perfect for the occasion! The locals loved my act. There were some beautiful, little ones, dressed in their own tiny tutus. Their wide, bright eyes made my heart flutter. It was one of those heartwarming moments that make my journey all worthwhile. 💕
My act was, as always, a complete explosion of glitter, feather boas, and vibrant pink, punctuated with bursts of energy and my signature tutu twirls. And to my absolute delight, the audience were captivated, singing along, laughing with delight, and throwing the occasional pink feather boa my way. Oh, the things you can do when you put on a pink tutu! 🌟
The energy was absolutely electrifying! There's something about a live audience that makes my heart sing, even as my legs are ready to give up! I love interacting with everyone. I love their genuine smiles, and the way their eyes light up with joy as I whirl about on stage. And yes, of course, I always answer questions, hand out pink feather boas, and, if I'm lucky, get a few cuddles from the smallest admirers. 🥰
Pink Tutu Sparkles and The Arts: I must tell you, my lovely blog readers, I couldn’t leave Pontypridd without taking in one of its local treasures. So, today, I am off to a beautiful little ballet theatre. The "Twirling Tutus Ballet Company" is holding a special fundraising gala for charity and I’m going to perform as their guest artist. My heart flutters with excitement every time I see those beautiful ballet shoes and, you know, I think it’s going to be magical to combine ballet with pink tutus! It just couldn't be a better combination. And remember my dears, it was that lovely pink tutu, right, which made me take up dancing in the first place. All that beautiful dance and magic and the amazing graceful ladies in tutus was just too much for a young Alex, and then… boom! The rest is history, my lovelies. 😉
