Cramlington: Pink Tutu Sparkles Gets Ready To Shine!

Hello darlings, and welcome to my fabulous world of pink tutus and dazzling sparkle! Today I'm bringing you the 4,357th instalment of Pink Tutu Sparklesโ€™ blog! It's hard to believe it's been nearly six years since I first popped on this blogosphere. Life's been an amazing journey ever since that first post on a chilly December day in 2011, a day that changed everything!

My trip to Cramlington has me in a flurry of excitement. You know I love to travel and I was thrilled when the local fair came knocking asking if I would bring my sparkly, glamorous act to their events! I love performing for all ages, spreading joy, and most importantly - inspiring more and more people to slip into a fabulous pink tutu. After all, who wouldn't want to add a bit of extra twirl to their life?

Now, getting to Cramlington isn't just any ordinary trip for your humble Pink Tutu Sparkles. Oh no! This gal is not a fan of your dreary long distance journeys! I'm more about the whimsy, the romance, and the nostalgia of travel, hence I'll be hopping on the railway tracks and taking a scenic train journey from Derbyshire - which you know is quite close to my heart! And I'll be sure to wear my newest tutu collection for the trip - the pink gingham train tutu that my seamstress has been working on for the last month! She's absolutely a dream, isn't she?

Before I hop on my adventure though, I must indulge in a bit of fashion and preparation! As always, my wardrobe needs a serious overhaul for a long journey and a day of dancing in Cramlington! Let me tell you, packing for a trip is an art form in itself! It's all about the layers, my darlings, and finding the right accessories for each stop.

For this train trip, I've opted for a comfortable pink polka-dot midi skirt, my trusty sparkly pink tights (yes, pink tights every day!), and a big pink fuzzy cardigan (winter has arrived and who doesn't love fuzzy pink). Of course, I wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles if I didn't accessorize to perfection, so I've got my trusty pink tote bag stuffed with essentials - my makeup kit, a good novel (currently devouring 'The Great Gatsby'!), my pink glitter emergency kit (one never knows when a little shimmer is needed!), and a few extra pink bows and hair clips to ensure I'm always looking fab.

Oh! I almost forgot, it wouldn't be a true Pink Tutu Sparkles journey without a bit of extra flair, so I'm packing a special pair of hot pink ballet pumps that were hand-made for me by a local craft-queen, specifically for my railway adventures. There is something wonderfully empowering about being in those ballet pumps, feeling that pink fabric embracing my toes, ready for the rhythm of the tracks! I have a real passion for ballet, my dears, I spend a lot of my time dancing in rehearsals and at shows. I just love the flow of the dancers and the tutus!

You see, there's a story behind why my heart belongs to those graceful twirls. While I was at university studying science (a surprising fact to many!), I found myself immersed in the wonderful world of university ballet. You know, a student's life can get rather monotonous, right? So we decided to take part in a fundraising dance marathon for charity and what did they get me to wear? That's right - a beautiful, sparkling pink tutu! And from that day on, there was no looking back. I found my passion and now Pink Tutu Sparkles wants to spread that joy all across the land, getting everyone dancing in pink tutus. A dream, right?

Anyway, back to my adventure. So, with a sigh of contentedness and a handful of pink-scented tissues (always ready for any pesky tears, you know), I'm ready to head to the station, to climb on that fabulous railway train, and to start my adventure! My aim? Well, it's simple: to spread the Pink Tutu Sparkle magic in Cramlington, to entertain the locals, and of course, to see if I can convince a few of them to put on their own Pink Tutu Sparkles!

But before I sign off for now, my darlings, let's get some photos done. Oh yes, I must take a few pictures, just to capture the essence of the journey - the sparkly pink train ticket, the reflection of my hot pink pumps in the station window.

I'll be sure to update you later with all the fabulous events and all the glorious moments. Remember, keep on spreading the sparkle! It's time for me to catch the train. Until next time, darling!

All the Pink Tutu Sparkle Kisses,

Pink Tutu Sparkles (Alex)
