Now, where were we? Ah yes, Norwich! What a wonderful city to visit, full of cobbled streets and beautiful old buildings, and let me tell you, this pink queen had the most fabulous time exploring.
You see, my love for Norwich started years ago, back when I was a little Alex, still dreaming of wearing a tutu in public. One fateful day, while studying science (don't judge!), I stumbled into the university ballet club's costume sale. There I was, surrounded by discarded dancewear, and what do I see? A gorgeous, shimmering, bubblegum pink tutu, just waiting to be worn! Well, let's just say it was love at first sight, and it all started from there.
These days, you'll find me spinning my sequins and swirling my tutu across the stage, but sometimes, a girl needs a break from the lights and the noise, and what better place to find a moment of peace than in a beautiful city like Norwich?

I took a stroll through the beautiful Cathedral, marvelled at the Norwich Castle, and wandered around the market, finding some truly gorgeous vintage gems! There's something so magical about a live performance, the feeling of the energy flowing between the stage and the audience. The Theatre Royal, Norwich was particularly delightful. The building is stunningly grand, with ornate detailing and rich velvet seating that transports you back in time. I couldn't resist a quick photo op in the foyer, my pink tutu a pop of colour against the dark wood and twinkling chandeliers!
After the show, I was eager to immerse myself in the local food scene, and oh my goodness, was it divine! From a scrumptious afternoon tea at a quaint tea room to indulging in a delicious meal at a cosy pub, my taste buds were truly dancing with delight. Of course, no trip to Norwich would be complete without a visit to the stunning Norwich Puppet Theatre. Let's just say, it brought out the child in this tutu queen! I loved watching the puppet show, all the creativity and intricate detail of the puppets themselves, it was truly a wonder to behold!
I even managed to squeeze in a ballet class at the lovely Norwich Dance Academy. It was fantastic, just what I needed after a busy few days!
