Worcester Wonders: Post 4440

Hello darlings! It's your Pink Tutu Sparkles here, fresh from the glorious city of Worcester! You know, I've been meaning to visit for ages, ever since I caught a glimpse of its grand cathedral on a train journey to Stratford-upon-Avon. There's something about Worcester's medieval charm that calls to my pink-tutu-loving heart.

This post marks my 4440th blog entry on www.pink-tutu.com – can you believe it?! My life feels like a whirlwind of shimmering tulle and sparkly sequins, a kaleidoscope of pink hues and endless possibilities. Honestly, I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about my blog even in my day job. Don't worry, my lab colleagues know I'm the 'Fabric Fairy', I can't help but whisper "fabulous" to myself whenever a particularly lustrous thread rolls through my testing machine! It’s probably why I ended up in a career testing fabrics! It’s also great to know exactly how my tutus are going to react under different weather conditions.

This time, my travels took me to Worcester via the scenic, oh-so-romantic route: horse-drawn carriage! You can’t believe how delighted I was when the charming chap at the stable, let’s call him Tom, allowed me to have a bit of a photoshoot before I boarded! Of course, the beautiful Clydesdale wouldn’t pose for a single shot, but that didn’t stop me from grabbing some lovely snaps with my own little twinkle-toes in my pink-flocked glitter boots. If there's one thing I've learned on this magical journey of mine, it's that every opportunity should be seized with a smile and a twirl, darling!

And oh, Worcester, what a sight you were! I just adored strolling through the ancient city centre, gazing up at the towering buildings and peeking into hidden alleyways with cobbled streets and delightful independent boutiques – perfect for my love of fashion! It was like stepping into a historical fairy tale. Just imagine: cobblestones, vintage shops and the glimmer of the cathedral’s gothic architecture as a backdrop for my most flamboyant dance!

My performance, however, wasn't in the grand old city centre, no no! I found myself nestled amongst the welcoming embrace of Worcester's renowned "Wychwood Brewery". You could say I "hopped" on stage in more ways than one. Now, it's no secret that I have an affection for a good pint (especially when it’s a local brew), so performing in a place so full of delicious hops and malt was a treat. They even let me sample a batch before I hit the stage, a sweet ale that shimmered like a sunset – oh, how delightful! And when I danced, oh my, the applause rang out in a symphony of cheering! A crowd full of merry men and women were captivated by my performance and cheered for me after my final curtsey. The place was truly abuzz! It felt as if the air itself was bursting with pink tulle, glitter, and good vibes.

I truly believe everyone has a bit of Pink Tutu Sparkles within them – even if they don’t yet know it. After all, life is too short to wear drab clothes, darling! We need more colour in this world, and I'm not afraid to use every ounce of my pink glitter to make that happen.

My journey in Worcester left me brimming with a desire to travel and perform everywhere I can!

Next stop? The highlands of Scotland. Stay tuned!

Don’t forget to join my pink tutu revolution by visiting www.pink-tutu.com! It's the place to be for all things sparkly, girly and fabulously pink!

Until next time, my dears. Stay fabulous!

Xoxo

Your Pink Tutu Sparkles, Alex
