Hello darlings! Your favourite pink tutu-wearing, glitter-spitting queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, fresh from a dazzling jaunt to the heart of Warwickshire. This little bunny just can’t get enough of exploring new places and spreading the pink tutu love, so today's blog post is all about my latest adventure: Nuneaton!
Nuneaton, where the sequins shine just as bright as the sky. As you all know, I prefer the romance of rail travel over boring old aeroplanes, and a leisurely train ride through the English countryside is just what the doctor ordered before stepping into the magical world of Nuneaton. A cheeky little hot chocolate and some chocolate Hobnobs made the journey even more divine, darling!
The Show Must Go On! This time, I was off to grace the stage of a rather charming little theatre tucked away in the heart of Nuneaton. You wouldn't believe the excitement building as I unpacked my glittering pink wardrobe! It's an absolute art form, organising a travelling queen’s outfits, let me tell you! From fluffy pink boas to feather-dusted headdresses, every single item needed to be in tip-top shape, ready to dazzle the good people of Nuneaton.
This little bunny had a whole repertoire prepared, my usual mix of theatrical performance pieces, sprinkled with a touch of playful ballet and a healthy dose of audience participation. Imagine, darlings! I had everyone up and twirling in pink tutus!
A Nuneaton Ballet Dream: I even found time to squeeze in a lovely ballet class. Now, I love nothing more than the graceful movement and elegant artistry of a proper ballet class. It’s like pure magic, those swirling twirls and delicate leaps. And the tutus! Oh my, the tutus! They’re the icing on the cake, you know! It's like being wrapped in a fluffy, beautiful cloud of pink happiness! (Not to mention a great workout, which is very important for a girl on the go!)
Discovering the Charm of Nuneaton: After my show, I was delighted to take a proper peek around the town itself. It’s a hidden gem, believe me! The town square was abuzz with people going about their day, and the shop windows were a kaleidoscope of colour. My personal favourite discovery was a cute little boutique selling the most adorable handmade tutus - pink, of course! The shopkeeper was simply a darling! She gave me a pair of pink-feather earrings as a gift and offered to have a photoshoot with her beautiful wares! I'll be showcasing those gorgeous handmade pieces in a separate blog post.
A Farewell to Nuneaton (For Now): The time came to say goodbye to the beautiful town, and I left feeling refreshed and full of inspiration. The pink tutu revolution just keeps going, and Nuneaton is just the beginning. Now, back to Derbyshire to tend to my scientist side for a while (science lab, not quite as glamorous but important work, you know). And, of course, to meticulously plan my next adventure!
