Post number 4486! Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink-loving, tutu-twirling, glitter-bombing queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles! And boy oh boy, are you ready for some seriously sparkly updates?! I just had the most magical time in Paignton, a little slice of seaside heaven that truly stole my heart!
As you know, Iām a big fan of all things fabulous and glamorous. A little slice of beach-side beauty definitely tickles my fancy! Letās get straight into it, shall we? It's been a while since I've dipped my toes in the sand, and let me tell you, Paignton did not disappoint. This lovely seaside town in Devon embraced my sparkle with open arms (and even the occasional open mouth)! It's like a Victorian dream come true, you know, with cobbled streets, seaside promenades and those quaint little shops selling souvenirs and buckets and spades (not that I actually play with those ā a bit too messy for this fabulous Queen!)
So how did I get there, you ask? Why, by train, of course! A journey filled with such excitement! The rumble and chug of the train tracks, the sight of rolling hills and fields and those cute little cottages with gardens overflowing with brightly coloured flowers... Pure bliss, darlings! I even had time to pop to the cafe cart for a proper British cuppa with a scone (extra cream, darling!) to make it even more picture perfect!
Now, letās talk about my fabulous outfit. Paignton calls for a nautical theme, donāt you think? A pink, oh so sparkly, sequinned nautical skirt was a must for me, paired with a white silk top, and my signature ā yes, you guessed it ā a pink tutu! Because frankly, a day at the beach is NEVER complete without a bit of tulle! Oh, and my fabulous ruby red shoes, just because! You see, I believe in bringing that pink and sparkly magic to EVERY occasion! Why be drab when you can be dazzling? Right?!
Speaking of dazzling, the Paignton Promenade is absolutely breathtaking. It's just perfect for strolling with a large, pink, and oh so tasty ice cream (because I can! What is life if not an opportunity to eat a lot of ice cream?) And speaking of pinkā¦ the beautiful little shops with candy-coloured beach huts and cute cafes serving pink lemonade and pink strawberry ice-creamā¦ oh, I just had to buy EVERYTHING! My bags are bulging!
Of course, my trip wasnāt all about shopping and treats! The real star of the show? Well, itās a tie: Paignton Zoo and Paignton Pier!
Paignton Zooā¦ what a spectacle, dear readers! So many wonderful creatures to meet! Elephants, zebras, giraffesā¦ and did you know? Paignton is home to the smallest monkeys in the world?! Don't ask me about their scientific names, itās my night job, but just the sheer sight of these adorable miniature monkeys, they stole my heart! But you know me ā always the drama queen, I found a whole posse of flamingoes dressed in pinkā¦ how much more dramatic can one Queen be?!
And then there's the pier! This majestic seaside staple with its arcades, fairground games and incredible views... just breathtaking. I can't imagine visiting a seaside town without a trip to the pier! Oh, and I had a go on the ferris wheel ā with all my bling and sparklesā¦ I was quite the sight! Iām so grateful to the locals who stopped to compliment my pink tulle outfit and pose for pictures, even that family who mistook me for Barbie's new ādragā companion (we do like to mix those stories!) ā very cute and a delightful break from the endless stream of children who screamed for selfies with me. And to the ice cream man who stopped selling scoops and stared at my pink tulle tutu while it caught in the gentle summer breeze - well, darlings, what's life without a little extra drama?!
Speaking of drama, my evening show was fantastic! The whole audience had a blast. I performed a stunning ballet routine (my little ode to the lovely seaside!) dressed in my fabulous pink tutu. Yes, darling, a pink tutu and ballet are like peanut butter and jelly ā meant to be together! The audience went wild! And who knew Paignton had so many amazing ballet enthusiasts?! It was amazing! After all, who could resist my signature sparkle and glam?!
I had to rush after my performance. My train back to Derbyshire is early tomorrow (another fun journey on the rails, yes! Those gorgeous vistas!). And I'll be telling you all about it!
