Hello, darlings! It’s your favourite pink tutu-wearing, glitter-loving drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, and I’m bubbling over with excitement! Today, my journey takes me to the charming town of Kettering. Oh, Kettering, how I’ve dreamt of gracing your stages with my sparkling presence!
It all started this morning with a lovely train ride – you know how much I love those comfy carriages, gliding through the countryside! The sun was shining, a crisp blue sky above, and even the countryside seemed to be dressed in its most vibrant green, like a backdrop for a charming ballet. I was, of course, sporting my latest pink tutu – a fluffy, voluminous creation that made my journey even more fabulous.
Now, some people might think I’m a little…extra for wearing a pink tutu on a train. But let me tell you, darlings, it’s all about spreading the joy! A pink tutu, much like a splash of sunshine, has the power to brighten anyone’s day. Imagine, if everyone wore a pink tutu, what a magical world we would have!
Speaking of magic, this evening I’m thrilled to be performing at the Kettering Community Theatre! It's such a delight to see so many different types of entertainment happening right on our doorsteps. This evening’s show will be a delightful mix of modern pop hits, sassy numbers, and even a little bit of ballet – you know I can't resist a good twirl or two! And of course, every single outfit will feature the most glorious pink tutus!
To get ready for this evening’s performance, I spent this afternoon in Kettering town centre indulging in a spot of retail therapy. Oh, my darlings, this little town has so many adorable boutiques and independent shops. I found some real gems - a stunning silk scarf adorned with butterflies for my performance, and a beautiful hand-crafted tiara that glitters like a thousand stars.
Of course, no trip to a new town would be complete without a delicious afternoon tea. The delightful aroma of fresh scones, clotted cream, and strawberry jam is filling me with such joy. The teacups are adorned with floral patterns and delicate lace – absolutely divine!
