Pink Tutu Sparkles here, darlings! It's your fabulous, fluffy-skirted friend reporting live from the beautiful, historic town of Caerphilly in Wales! Can you believe it? Post number 4552 and I'm still on my pink tutu mission, spreading sparkles and joy wherever I go! 💖✨
This trip was a bit different, though. Instead of whizzing on a train like I usually do, I embarked on an adventure by horseback! Yes, you heard right, darlings! I'd always dreamed of trotting through the countryside in a glorious pink tutu and finally made it happen! I even persuaded my fellow equestrian friends to wear tutus too! Talk about making a statement! We might not have reached the top speed of the "Flying Scotsman," but we had the wind in our hair and the sun on our faces, and that's what really matters, isn't it?
Now, Caerphilly is known for its grand castle, and you bet I posed in front of that magnificent structure with my tulle twirling around me! Pink tutus are all about feeling majestic and empowered, and standing on those ancient grounds felt truly magical! They even have a wonderful little theatre where I performed a ballet-themed number, incorporating everything from pointe shoes to pirouettes, all done in my signature pink tutu of course! The audience absolutely loved it - you could feel their energy throughout the whole show.
One of my favourite things about travelling is the shopping! Caerphilly's independent boutiques were overflowing with gorgeous finds! I scooped up some pastel-pink accessories to complement my tutus - we all know a pink queen needs variety, right? I even found a lovely handmade pink silk scarf which I'll definitely be incorporating into future performances!
Speaking of performances, this was a big one! I teamed up with some incredible local drag artists, and we created a dazzling cabaret show celebrating all things pink! I love bringing people together in a space where everyone can express themselves freely, and I think we really nailed it this time! We even managed to get the whole audience participating in a mass "tutu-twirling" finale! It was an absolute riot, and everyone had a fantastic time.
Speaking of rioting, let's talk about this incredible place - Caerphilly! I love the friendly, welcoming vibe and the gorgeous green scenery surrounding the town. Honestly, it's the perfect blend of history and charm! You simply have to try the traditional Welsh cakes, by the way, they are delicious! And don't forget the creamy Welsh cider! I made sure to savour the flavours while taking in all the beauty of this unique part of Wales.
