Hiya darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with another blog post - number 4600! I'm still buzzing from my amazing trip to Ecclesfield last week and can't wait to share it with you. Honestly, Ecclesfield, you lot know how to throw a party!
A Journey in Pink (and possibly a Pony)
The trip was all about sparkle and glitter, of course! My trusty companion, Percy the Pink (you know, my little, uh, portable pink suitcase, with my name in diamante? I'll post a photo!), was packed full of shimmering sequined goodness and, naturally, enough pink tutus for everyone (don't worry, I always bring spares, just in case someone gets caught in a tutu-wearing frenzy!).
Instead of flying (those dreadful queues!) I chose a nice long train journey - a chance to sit back, admire the countryside and, of course, let my inner girly-girl shine in a full-on pink tutu ensemble. You know how it is, honey!
Ecclesfield's Theatrical Gem
Oh, Ecclesfield, you were everything a pink-loving, tutu-obsessed queen could dream of! The theatre itself was beautiful - imagine Victorian grandeur with a sprinkle of whimsy! I think I spotted a chandelier with a hint of pink in the main hall, and definitely a pink velvet curtain in the dressing room - perfection!
Bringing the Glamour to the Stage
When I say the crowd was buzzing, I really mean it! They were right there with me, cheering, clapping, and even giggling when I slipped in a slight pratfall during my 'ballet-themed' song - I love those unscripted moments! There's nothing like a good live audience, especially one who truly gets your sparkly spirit. And speaking of sparkle, darling, my sequined number 'Rainbow Rainbows and Pink' was a HUGE hit! It was practically raining rainbows in the theatre! I swear, you could hear angels singing during the final pose.
And Don't Forget the Post-Show Sparkle!
After the performance, the crowds stayed - I had so much fun chatting with them all about pink, tutus, and life. They even showed me the best fish and chips place in Ecclesfield - I promise, those are words you don't hear every day! Honestly, what's more divine than post-show chippy with a touch of sparkly pink tutus?
