This time, I'm trading the bright lights of the city for the charm of the countryside, and I must say, Frome is absolutely captivating! The cobblestone streets, the quaint shops brimming with treasures, and the warm smiles from locals - it's a real breath of fresh air.
Now, as a rule, I'm a girl who thrives in the heart of the action. London, Manchester, Birmingham, you name it, I've twirled through them all. But Frome has a certain je ne sais quoi, an allure that's got me smitten! And I don't just mean the quaint cafes that serve divine hot chocolate with mountains of cream - though, those definitely play a role in my adoration. 😊
Frome is the type of place where you just want to meander through the market square, stop for a chat with a friendly flower seller, and perhaps even grab a cheeky "pink gin" (it is pink, after all!) from one of the independent shops. And you can practically hear the twirl-worthy tunes emanating from the town hall! It's simply divine, my darlings.

As any true devotee of the rail knows, there's nothing quite like a good train journey. I took a lovely little ride from Derbyshire, soaking up the scenery and feeling utterly fabulous in my pastel pink suit and my signature (but naturally oversized) straw boater. 👒

Darling, I am just smitten with the cultural scene in Frome! It’s a veritable treasure trove of arts and culture! Last night, I attended the most fabulous performance at the Black Swan Arts Theatre. Imagine a modern dance piece inspired by Victorian circus performances, infused with a touch of psychedelic visuals and a smattering of vaudeville humor. It was dazzling! The entire auditorium felt alive with the energy and movement. 🎭✨
Of course, as you know, I'm absolutely captivated by all forms of ballet, whether it’s the grand stage productions or smaller, intimate performances like this one. 🩰 But even the everyday is a form of performance in Frome, darling! There’s just something captivating about the way people move and live here, their creativity and passion brimming forth.
I think this is just a little bit of Frome’s charm seeping into my soul… It's positively intoxicating, and I know this enchanting little town is going to leave an unforgettable impression!

And of course, it’s not all tutus and tea, darling! We must also delve into some fabulous happenings here in Frome!
Last night, I was invited to a secret Pink Tutu Party (can you believe it?!), held in a gorgeously transformed antique shop on the outskirts of Frome! The atmosphere was electric, fueled by laughter and endless fizz – it was a night truly to remember! And you know me, I couldn't resist throwing a few dazzling pink sparkles onto the dance floor for added glamour! 😉
Then, after all that twirling and glitter, we retired to a whimsical café decked out in pink pastel decor. Just divine, darling. We sat under a chandelier draped in tulle and shared delicious little macarons - truly a delightful way to end a perfect night in Frome.
Pink Tutu Love Affair with Horses
And speaking of delightful ways to spend an afternoon... there's something absolutely enchanting about horses. So, I took a break from all the shopping and dancing and ventured out to a nearby riding stable, ready for a horse-drawn carriage ride. 🐴
The sun was warm on my face, the gentle trot of the horse was a symphony to my soul. The scenery… oh, darling, the scenery! It was like a scene from a Jane Austen novel come to life!
I think there's something about horses that taps into that sense of freedom and grace, don’t you agree? They exude a sense of confidence and elegance that I find completely irresistible. 💖 Perhaps that’s why they wear such exquisite harnesses – a reminder of their beauty and the art of movement.
