Hammersmith, darling! 💖✨

Oh my darlings, you won't believe the absolute whirlwind that was this week! I jetted off to Hammersmith on the back of a rather handsome grey stallion, (Yes! You heard me right, I even charmed my way into a ride on a majestic beast. Imagine me, perched regally on a saddle in my pinkest of pink tutus, just fabulous!).

You know me, I wouldn't travel without a full-blown glam outfit, right? So I naturally wore my "Candy floss clouds" tutu – it's fluffy and pink, and completely adorable, it's perfect for getting into the whimsical spirit of Hammersmith!

This blog post is number 4699 and if you’re looking for fun, family-friendly, fabulous blog posts on everything Pink Tutu, you've come to the right place! Welcome to www.pink-tutu.com – the only website in the world where you can find my daily musings on pink tutus, all things ballet and travelling in style!

So back to Hammersmith… Let me tell you, it was an absolutely incredible trip. I started with a delicious afternoon tea at The Old Bailey – which, surprisingly, wasn’t filled with judges in their gowns, (you’d think they'd have at least one tutu enthusiast!). They served these heavenly scones, the fluffiest ones I’ve ever eaten – I'm pretty sure I went back for a third helping!

Next, a delightful visit to the Hammersmith Palais. This dance hall, oh, it’s full of vibrant colours and is simply stunning! The stage, like a magnificent mirrorball, shimmered under the soft lights and the energy inside was palpable. I couldn't resist a quick jig on the dance floor, it's true – even the sound of my tap-dancing shoes sounded perfect with the old gramophone music they were playing!

Naturally, my evening wouldn't be complete without a visit to the world-famous Lyric Theatre! A fantastic show featuring dancers who looked as graceful as ballerinas. I tell you, watching the way they move was absolutely captivating. They weren’t as pink as me, of course, but I found myself transported into a whole other world. Ballet, oh it's a magical art, wouldn’t you agree, darling?

And speaking of magical, did you see my latest outfit? I paired my "Candy Floss Clouds" tutu with a brand-new shimmery top in the palest pink, just a tad lighter than a flamingo. It’s giving ‘dreamy’ and it absolutely had the crowd at The Lyric Theatre smitten!

Oh, and by the way, my latest "Pink Tutu” range just arrived! I can’t even contain my excitement. This new range, it’s called "Sugar and Spice," – a whole range of soft, silky pink tutus in all shapes and sizes. And trust me, you are going to absolutely adore it!

My darling, before I sign off, I just wanted to tell you a little something about myself. As you know, my name is Pink Tutu Sparkles, a truly glamorous and enchanting name for a truly glamorous and enchanting drag queen, isn't it? But my name's actually Alex, and believe it or not, I have a secret life… as a scientist! I can test the tensile strength of fabric all day long, but my real passion lies with tutus and making the world a brighter, more glittery, pinker place!

Well, darling, I think it’s time for me to catch a train to Derbyshire for my family's annual "Tutu Christmas", (It’s a whole Christmas filled with pink tutus…what's more fabulous than that?). Until then, I shall leave you to dream of tutus and all things pink and sparkling. Until next time!

Remember, darlings, wear your pink tutus with pride, you look amazing in them.

Yours ever so glamorously, Pink Tutu Sparkles ✨💕💖
