Royal Leamington Spa: Pink Tutu Adventures, Post #4771!

Hello my darling darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu princess, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, reporting live from the beautiful town of Royal Leamington Spa! It's just about a two-hour train journey from Derbyshire, the perfect escape for a glamorous, pink tutu-filled adventure. And honestly, isn't it just gorgeous? So much cobblestone, so many tea shops, and so much room to twirl!

Today was all about exploring the charming shops and embracing the delightful countryside atmosphere. Now, before we dive into the details, let's have a chat about my fabulous journey, shall we?

Firstly, the train ride was simply divine. I have a secret confession – I adore travelling by train. I mean, think about it, it's a mobile pink tutu palace! My best friend, Dolly, who you might recognise from our previous adventure at the Edinburgh Fringe, gifted me a stunningly vibrant pink hat box that's big enough to carry my full stage wardrobe. My pink tutu, of course, sits majestically on top, acting as a flamboyant flag for all to see. Oh, the joy!

Arriving at Leamington Spa station was like stepping into a whimsical fairytale. Imagine, if you will, the most perfect Victorian train station, complete with charming clock towers and those little brick buildings you always see in sweet English films. And to top it off, there were actual horse-drawn carriages waiting just outside the station! How decadent, darling! I had a mini photo shoot with one, of course, so you can catch a glimpse of that pure pink tutu bliss in my Instagram feed.

Once settled in at my hotel – the "Hotel Leamington" (what a fantastic coincidence!), I had to get into the spirit of the place. So, you know what? I actually went to a real tea party! Imagine a pink table overflowing with the most adorable little cakes, sandwiches and scones you could dream of, served with delicate china and enough silver to sink a battleship. Oh, my dears, it was simply divine!

And to fully embrace the local spirit, we couldn't end the day without taking in a show. And the grand finale of my evening? It was a beautiful performance of “Giselle” at the Royal Spa Centre. I know, I know, I love ballet! My love affair with tutus started with my love for ballet. You see, it all began when I was a little student in my hometown in Derbyshire. Remember that time, darling, when I was studying Science? Well, you would never believe it, but I was actually part of the University Ballet club and I wore a pink tutu for the charity performance. Let me tell you, darling, there’s nothing quite like twirling in a full skirt and having the wind lift your tulle, it's like pure magic! Ever since, my fascination with ballet has gone into overdrive and of course, that pink tutu got me hooked on performing in front of people. I was hooked! It was my awakening.

The dancers were incredibly graceful and the costumes were breathtakingly beautiful. It's moments like this that really drive home the beauty of artistic expression. Ballet and theatre bring us together and the experience always inspires me so much. I have to say, it makes my own pink tutu act just that much more fulfilling!

Now, let's talk about the pink, shall we? My dears, Royal Leamington Spa really does deserve a Pink tutu score of 4 out of 5, (and trust me, that's a high score from this diva)! Let's face it, there wasn't enough pink! Not enough for a true Pink Tutu Princess, like myself, I must say! It had a few pink highlights here and there, but my sweet, darling dears, I really thought I could have shaken things up for a true Pink Tutu Princess experience! Think pink! Just add some hot pink cocktails, pink doormen, pink taxis and even pink streetlights for maximum fabulous effect! The residents are just too polite here and have such a reserved way about them!

Don't get me wrong, darling! I had a fab time! It's certainly a town I will return to - but I will definitely be spreading my pink tutu love next time. Maybe if I come with enough pink balloons? Let's get this town looking like a fabulous pink fairytale. That’s right, darling, more pink is always good for the soul! Pink is joy! Pink is happiness! The pink revolution has only just begun!

And, while I'm dreaming, wouldn’t it be fabulous to ride a pink horse-drawn carriage next time?! Just picture the sheer pink-tastic spectacle of it all, my darling darlings. Oh, my dears, just thinking about it sends chills of delightful anticipation down my spine. It would truly be the perfect culmination of all things pink and fabulously extravagant!

That’s it for now, dears! But don't forget, I’ll be here all day, all week, all year on my website – www.pink-tutu.com.

Remember, keep the faith, be fabulous and keep those pink tutus at the ready. Love you to pieces!

Pink Tutu Sparkles xoxo
