Hello, darling! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, reporting live from the breezy Kent seaside town of Ramsgate! It’s glorious here! You’ve gotta see the views! Think of the best seaside postcard you’ve ever seen - vibrant pastel colours, sparkling waters, fluffy clouds, beach huts, and enough sand to fill a tutu… well, maybe not that much sand… but it’s pretty incredible.
It feels like the whole town is a technicolour fairytale! Imagine the prettiest shades of candy pink, baby blue, lavender and buttery yellow all swirling around in the gentle sea breeze - this is exactly what Ramsgate is like! I absolutely love it! This post will be long, you know me – long-winded, full of colour, and all about… YOU guessed it, PINK TUTUS!
This trip to Ramsgate started like all the best adventures - on the train! A comfy seat, a scenic journey and a fellow traveler, a sweet granny, who couldn’t stop fussing over my latest creation – a dazzling bright pink tulle tutu, dotted with tiny shimmering iridescent sequins! Granny had even remarked that it looked like it could fly! My cheeks blushed pink with the compliments – but let’s be honest, any compliment that gets a blush is worth the journey itself, right? And the real joy was that it made granny's day too, seeing the sparkle in her eyes!
Oh, the joy of making people happy! This is exactly why I keep traveling, why I do what I do, why I love my pink tutus – spreading joy!
Of course, arriving in Ramsgate felt like a walk straight out of a fairy-tale storybook. A blast of salty sea air on my face and immediately seeing this town, a little jewel hidden away on the Kentish coast – truly a hidden gem, darlings. And the tiniest little shop in town was like a magical land - an overflowing treasure trove of shimmering fabrics!
It’s like Ramsgate is calling to be adorned in sparkles and twirls! There’s a touch of magic here in the air - that special sprinkle of magic that draws you in and leaves you spellbound. Just look at these photos!

You’re just gonna have to trust me on this - the pictures just don’t do Ramsgate justice, really. There’s this feeling, this sparkling, shimmery, airy energy - like a little rainbow was sprinkled over the entire town - it's utterly magical. I couldn’t help but feel the need to dance. And dancing is one of my favorite things to do. You'll find me out at the street food market, spinning to the tune of some fun, bouncy dance music and serving smiles with my yummy "Pink Tutu Surprise" popcorn – I’m making sure that Ramsgate knows that every day can be a joyous, dancing adventure. It just takes a little pink magic.
Ramsgate feels like a tutu town – ready for a vibrant performance! And with that, darling, I have a show tonight! My little Ramsgate family is hosting a spectacular dinner and drag show! We’ll have a delightful 3-course menu, a little bit of song, some dance numbers, and the best pink tutu performance in all of Kent! So, don't forget, your Pink Tutu Sparkles will be rocking the stage tonight at "The Rusty Anchor," a cozy little seaside pub with beautiful bay windows offering fantastic views!
