From waltzing across the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe to twirling on a carriage at the Bath Royal Ballet, my journey as a tutu-wearing queen has been simply divine! ✨
Now, let me tell you about my fabulous trip to Hammersmith! 🚃 As soon as I booked my train ticket, I knew I had to wear my new "Hammersmith Glamour" tutu - a vibrant pink, naturally, with shimmering sequins and a beautiful layered tulle skirt. It was absolutely perfect for this journey! 💖
You know me, darling! I simply love a good train ride. The clickety-clack of the tracks, the gentle swaying, the endless rows of people watching. It's all so whimsical and magical, and perfect for dreaming up my next big drag idea. 💭
My stop? A gorgeous old theatre with stunning architecture and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I felt like I was transported back in time, ready for a dazzling show! 😍 And you bet I put on a good one, too! 🎤
First up, my usual opening number: a playful, sassy ballet routine in my "Candyfloss" tutu, complete with sparkling heels and an adorable pink boa! 🍬💖 The audience went wild, which always makes my heart skip a beat. You know, I was so lost in the performance, I almost forgot the most important part: sharing my message of pink tutu love! 💕
I like to use my stage time to inspire everyone to embrace their inner sparkliest selves. I encourage everyone to put on their fanciest tutu, be it pink, purple, or whatever colour makes your heart sing. Tutu wear is not about conformity, darlings, it's about celebrating our individuality and having a fabulous time! 🤩
My final number was a real crowd-pleaser: a high-energy dance routine with my new sparkly boots. Think high-kicks, dazzling turns, and plenty of hip action! 😉 It was a whirlwind of colour and movement, a true reflection of my bubbly personality!
After my performance, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many kind people. There were fellow drag queens, excited teenagers, even some adorable grannies! We chatted about everything from my pink tutus to their love of the theatre! You know, darling, it’s heartwarming to see how something as simple as a pink tutu can bring so many people together. 💫
But it's not all glitter and sparkle, you know! My life as a pink tutu-wearing queen is as exciting as it is hard work. I balance my passion for performing with my "day job" in a lab, testing fabrics for various brands. Sometimes it feels like I'm in a real-life "Project Runway" episode! 🧪
Don't get me wrong, darling, I adore science. But you just can't beat the feeling of dancing under the spotlight, surrounded by cheering crowds! ✨ I live for the energy, the creativity, the sheer joy of expressing myself through drag.
And even when I'm back in my lab, I always remember that life's a performance! So, I strut my stuff with confidence, even if it's just while brewing a cup of tea! 😂
