Hastings, Darling! It’s Pink Tutu Sparkles here, for blog post number 4964!

Well, hello darlings! How's life treating you all? Pink Tutu Sparkles here, fresh from the bright lights of Hastings! I tell you, you should have seen the look on those Hastings residents' faces when Pink Tutu Sparkles sauntered into town! I can assure you it was not one of disdain, but of pure delight and amazement. This post is all about my adventures in this lovely little seaside town, where I finally saw the sea again - a right tonic, I tell you!

I tell you, travelling by train is just delightful. There’s just something so chic about settling in, watching the world go by, and enjoying a cuppa. Don’t get me wrong, the horse-drawn carriage that I took in Brighton yesterday was quite something else, but I prefer to feel the wind in my hair whilst speeding through the countryside, wouldn’t you agree? But back to Hastings...

So, I just had to take you all on a virtual trip, my dears, to experience Hastings for yourself. My pink tutu was swirling with delight, even in the light sea breeze. My gorgeous lavender blouse went perfectly with the pastel pinks of my dress, and I was a picture of utter pink delight, as always.

Firstly, the Hastings pier! Such a vibrant place with so many lovely vintage games! They have an old fashioned shooting gallery, where I gave the fairest of the menfolk a right run for their money with my precision. I tell you, my aim is as good as the one on my fabulous tutus, darling!

Then it was off for a delightful ice cream in the lovely Hastings Old Town. My dear friends will be happy to hear that I had the very best of banana and strawberry with extra cream, of course, as one must. You just can’t be Pink Tutu Sparkles on the road and deny yourself such a luxury. I don’t mind if I say it - Pink Tutu Sparkles does love a good treat.

And don’t even get me started on the fabulous shop window displays on Queen's Road - there were just so many glorious shops packed with such stylish clothes and delightful vintage pieces. You know how I love to browse - it’s like therapy, darling! A girl can never have enough sparkles in her wardrobe. Just one problem... the perfect vintage tutu I spied is sadly a size too small. That’s ok though - Pink Tutu Sparkles can't have a vintage pink tutu just any vintage pink tutu, so I’ll keep on the lookout. I do hope one comes up in a larger size in some glamorous little shop soon! I can’t wait to parade it around in my next performance, as it would certainly add a touch of elegance to my signature look!

For the next stop in my adventures in Hastings, it was time to experience some cultural delights at the Jerwood Gallery. Now I was so intrigued to visit this stunning building. What can I say, my dear friends? They just don't do things like this back in Derbyshire, oh no! The art collection was superb. And can we take a moment for the views? Just stunning, even better than the little art shops I stumbled across down on the old town lanes! It was there that I saw such divine embroidery designs I simply couldn’t leave without a selection. Now those will go on my stage costumes with style and sparkle, I promise!

However, all this lovely sight seeing wasn’t without its dramas, darling. I swear, a flock of pigeons had decided that my luscious pink tulle had a very attractive shimmer in the sunshine, so they thought it a fabulous place for a spot of lunch, well, nearly! The little darlings made a good attempt! But of course I don’t mind the odd splash on my dress, because that's just what happens when Pink Tutu Sparkles goes out and about, but I did have to keep my fabulous hat at a distance and my bag under my watchful eye... I couldn’t risk these feathery friends getting anywhere near those sparkles! Oh, the audacity of those pigeons, but there we are!

My dear friends, one can’t always have fun and games. Pink Tutu Sparkles needs to recharge her sparkly batteries, so it was back to the train station to get back on the railway. And what is more magical, than an evening carriage ride to Lewes on my way back to Derbyshire? Well, what more can I say, but you simply have to add a spot of horseriding onto any travel itinerary - that’s a sure fire way to enjoy a more dramatic journey - it certainly got a good response from those on the platform, and what more does a queen of pink tulle want than to make those passers by do a double-take! And of course it all has to go on my pink-tutu.com page for the whole world to see! You wouldn’t be caught dead without a social media post in such stunning surroundings would you my darlings!

Hastings has definitely made it onto the ‘must-visit’ list. I’m always looking for inspiration, for colour, for vibrancy - and darling, let’s be honest: it’s about more than just fashion; it’s about that beautiful thing that brings people together. I see beauty everywhere - the light on a pebble, the curves of an antique table, even that gorgeous purple-hued seaside ice-cream!

As Pink Tutu Sparkles gets ready to jet back home and take a break after a successful weekend on the road, I have just one little question to leave you all with today! And that is my most pressing dilemma - which of my pink tutus to wear on my next big day out, oh dear me! It is a real problem as there are simply so many fabulous choices available! Perhaps a lovely lilac with diamanté flowers? Or my signature tutu that shimmers a million pink shades under the lights? I simply cannot decide!

For now though, it's time to enjoy the last of this glorious evening with my darling friends - a spot of tea and a little something sweet - what else could Pink Tutu Sparkles need after a trip like this?! But remember to always remember...Pink Tutu Sparkles is looking forward to seeing you next time!

Until then, I have some fabulous sparkly fun to organize...I shall have to check on my favourite Derbyshire fabric supplier for the materials for a fabulous, pink, bespoke tutu!

Don’t forget to visit my website for a dose of pink-tastic goodness, because you never know who Pink Tutu Sparkles will be sharing her sparkly journey with next!

Catch you all on the blog soon, my loves! And please remember - spread a little Pink Tutu Sparkles magic and sparkle, where ever you may be. And never forget, every girl needs a pink tutu!
