Helloooo darlings! It's your fabulous Pink Tutu Sparkles, reporting live from the wonderful town of Crewe, for a post that's positively brimming with glittery goodness - post number 4990! I can’t believe it’s been 4990 days since I started writing this blog, what a journey! 😉
Now, I don't usually have much time for boring ol' trains. But a glamorous girl like me needs to spread her pink wings and conquer the world, and the railways seem to be my chariot of choice right now! Crewe, with its buzzing heart and beautiful historic buildings, was a perfect choice for my latest adventure, especially since I'm a proper, certified train buff (just ask the lovely conductor who was so excited to hear I was here to see the magnificent locomotives, who knew! 😉).
And let’s face it, any place with the words "crewe" in its name simply has to be an enchanting spot! 😉
So, let's kick things off with a pink explosion! The first thing you need to know is: Pink Tutu Sparkles went full-on pink-a-licious! I wore my new “Pink Power” tutu – which has iridescent pink sequins that simply shimmer with joy! Oh, and did I mention it's the perfect pink? It's a rosy dream come true and the tutu spun beautifully in all its gloriously sparkly glory, twirling through the station with my own unique, Sparkly charm! I paired this dream with a top that was also entirely pink, adorned with the sweetest of pink bows, and some very special shoes... well, we'll get to those later! 😉
A Dance with the Stars! ✨
Before hitting the town I went for a delightful dance lesson in this lovely place in the center of town, they seemed so thrilled I’d turned up to dance and twirl. 🩰 As they knew this wasn’t just an average dance class. 🩰 This was a masterclass, with pink tutus as far as the eye could see. All those glorious twirling girls and I – Pink Tutu Sparkles - taking center stage! We danced to Tchaikovsky and Beethoven. Honestly, I felt as if I had transported into one of the classic ballets with its graceful figures and stunning beauty, oh it was magical!
And can we just pause for a moment to appreciate those glorious tutus? Honestly, they sparkled and twirled and flowed as if they had a life of their own. ✨ It reminded me of the day I fell head-over-heels in love with tutus in the first place – it was back when I was just a humble science student! I remember walking into our uni's ballet club meeting, the very first one actually, and just being blown away. They were holding a fundraiser for some brilliant charity and this lovely young woman – a bit of a star – was twirling about in a glorious pink tutu.
From that day on, I knew that I had to be surrounded by tutus! I’ve worn pink since that moment and now have so many amazing tutu costumes!
This lovely town just feels like a wonderful place to come alive and get in touch with your inner fairy, as did my lovely host - they had even adorned my hotel room with all things sparkly, with a pink chandelier hanging above my bed! 💕 A wonderful little surprise which truly made my visit complete!
And of course, I had to add a touch of Pink Tutu Sparkles magic to this dazzling location. 👠 The shops in Crewe had so many fabulous clothing choices; everything was pink, glitter-filled and gorgeous, but one stand-out treasure was a pair of platform shoes with delicate feather boa detail and, yes, they were in a stunning pink hue! Perfect for my grand arrival and perfectly suited to make the already fabulous town just that bit more spectacular!
