This week's adventure was a bit different, you see. While I normally fly by the seat of my sparkly pants and let fate guide me (I mean, you never know where a glittery opportunity might be hiding!), this time I was whisked away by the magic of the railway. A certain theatre nestled in the heart of this little gem of a town is where I was destined to twirl my way to your hearts!

Imagine my surprise, a few years back, when I found a tutu that was so comfortable, it was like a cloud for my delicate feet. Before I whisked myself away to Grays, I treated myself to a little pre-journey shopping spree. You know I'm a creature of habit: the best pinkest frocks, the most dazzling accessories – and, of course, a brand-new, fabulous tutu, all wrapped up and ready for its debut. I simply can't travel without a new sartorial delight. It's part of my journey – like a beautiful feather on a magical pixie! 💖

After the show, I enjoyed a delightful tea with my fellow performers. It’s always such a treat to chat with other artists and share stories. After a delightful, cream-filled pastry and some laughter over spilled tea, I bid farewell to my newfound friends and headed back to the train station. It was a farewell that filled my heart with happiness. I've always felt that my travels aren't about the destinations – it’s about the people you meet along the way.
As I sat on the train heading back to my Derbyshire abode, I reflected on the magic of the journey. I couldn’t have asked for a more dazzling week in Grays! It's the perfect blend of artistry, community spirit and, of course, lots and lots of sparkle!
