Oh my, Edgware was an absolute dream! My heart is bursting with excitement and I can barely contain myself, I've got SO much to tell you! Where do I even begin?!
Let's rewind. My journey to Edgware started, as always, with the most glamorous of modes of transport – a steam train! It was a truly charming journey, with me basking in the glow of my pinkest of pink tulle, getting compliments from fellow travellers and, of course, a lot of curious looks! You see, wearing a pink tutu isn't just a fashion statement, it's a statement of joy, a celebration of life! I mean, just look at how much sparkle it adds to any day, right? 😉
And now, to the exciting bits! I was booked for a rather spectacular performance at a local arts festival. You know me, darling, I can't go anywhere without bringing the house down. And trust me, when I say “bringing the house down," I literally meant that! I'm not one for spoilers, but let's just say there were feather boas, sequins galore, and, of course, the most magnificent, fabulous pink tutus. The crowd loved it – the energy was infectious, and I could practically feel the sparkle bouncing off the audience. Honestly, it was magical!
The festival wasn't the only treat Edgware had in store for me! There was a delightful little tea shop with a breathtaking collection of vintage teacups and saucers, the most wonderful selection of handmade pink cupcakes, and, I kid you not, the most stunning ballet shoe shop you could ever imagine. It was like stepping into a fairytale!
Oh, did I mention my ballet class? Yes, darling! I managed to squeeze in a little ballet class before my performance. Talk about finding joy in the simple things. I must admit, the dancers were a bit stunned by the arrival of a pink-tutu wearing queen in the middle of their class, but once they realised I could actually pirouette, they were delighted! It was so much fun to spin and twirl amongst these amazing dancers – pure magic!
Edgware wasn't just about fabulous performances, adorable teacups, and amazing dancers. It was also a chance for me to spread the pink tutu love! During my little street performance, a little girl approached me with wide eyes and shyly asked "Why are you wearing a tutu?" I had to share the Pink Tutu Sparkles manifesto, telling her how wearing a tutu is all about joy, self-expression, and feeling fabulous. Just like that, another tiny tutu enthusiast was born! 🥰
You know, darling, when it comes to spreading pink tutu joy, no task is too big, no location too far. I mean, just look at how much joy it brings! I had a fantastic time exploring the delightful streets of Edgware. And I honestly can't wait to plan my next pink tutu adventure.

And so, under the glow of stage lights, Alex transforms into Pink Tutu Sparkles – a captivating, joyful, and unapologetically pink persona. Alex's love for pink tutus, you see, began in the most unexpected way. While studying for her science degree, Alex was involved with the university's ballet club. One evening, a charity event presented the opportunity for students to raise funds by modelling ballet costumes. Alex found herself drawn to the elegance and grandeur of a specific pink tutu. Something about it resonated with her, sparking a love affair that continues to this day!
From that moment on, the stage beckoned. Alex's confidence grew with each performance, and Pink Tutu Sparkles was born!
