Honestly, sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure this isn't a dream. I mean, who could have imagined that a simple science student from Derbyshire would one day become a global pink tutu ambassador, travelling the world on a whirlwind of tulle and glitter? But then again, it's a testament to the power of believing in your dreams and chasing them with a pink tutu-wearing passion!
The journey here was a real treat, wouldn't you agree? A beautiful train ride through the English countryside, and let me tell you, darling, there's something absolutely captivating about watching the world pass you by through a window. It gives you time to just breathe and observe, and you know, maybe even pick out the perfect spot to unleash your inner tutu queen! Oh, I nearly forgot! For those of you wondering why the train was a priority - because let’s be real, how else do you arrive at a destination looking utterly fabulous, without a single hair out of place? A real Pink Tutu Sparkles arrival needs a grand entrance!
Speaking of grand entrances, have I mentioned I'll be performing at the fair tonight? Oh, I'm already practically bouncing with excitement, and I'm not even talking about the bouncy castle! Let me give you a sneak peek. Tonight's routine is a smashing mix of high-energy ballet-inspired moves and the dazzling glam of drag performance - think big skirts, bold colours, and lots and lots of glitter, darling! My trusty Pink Tutu, with all its sparkles and glamour, will be there, leading the way of course, because a true Pink Tutu Queen wouldn't dare to show up anywhere else, darling!
Now, if you think I just rock up in this amazing pink tutu and glitter, you'd be wrong, love! There's actually a lot of hard work behind the sparkle, even for this Pink Tutu Queen. Behind every sparkly look and breathtaking performance lies the diligent work of a lab scientist. By day, Alex the Scientist analyzes fabrics, using her knowledge of chemicals and materials to make sure your favourite clothing looks its best. By night, well, it's time for Pink Tutu Sparkles to dazzle! This double life takes a lot of energy, but hey, it's all worth it when I see the faces in the crowd light up during a performance. It's a feeling unlike any other!
Speaking of things that fill me with joy, how much do we love a good trip to the local shops? My dear, Llanelli did not disappoint. I spotted the most fabulous little boutique just around the corner from my hotel, bursting with sparkly things that made my heart sing. The staff were all so kind and accommodating, helping me to pick out a gorgeous new scarf (bright pink, of course!), perfect to complete my fabulous look. Now, what's a Pink Tutu Queen without some fabulous accessories to add a touch of drama? I found the most divine little headband adorned with sparkly pink butterflies! Isn't it perfect for my fair performance? Just picture it: The stage lights hitting those pink butterflies and turning them into magical, shimmering creatures, floating in the air. Ah, dreams really do come true in the world of pink tutus, wouldn't you say?
Before I forget, darling, let’s take a moment to appreciate the delicious delights this little Welsh town offers! There's nothing quite like the taste of a freshly baked Welsh cake with a cuppa (it just wouldn't be the same without the cuppa!). It's sweet, satisfying, and perfectly embodies the warmth and friendliness of the people of Wales. Just thinking about it already makes my stomach rumble!
But this journey wouldn't be complete without mentioning the beauty that surrounds us. Llanelli is nestled on a breathtaking coastline, where the turquoise sea crashes against the rugged rocks. I couldn’t help but wander along the promenade and take in the fresh sea air and the vastness of the horizon. Oh darling, it was so peaceful, even with my trusty Pink Tutu tucked away in my backpack, it really felt like I could breathe a little easier after all the bustling preparations for my show tonight!
