Darling readers, I'm positively giddy to be back in the land of fabulous! Today's stop is Aldridge, a little haven in the West Midlands where I'm just bursting with excitement about a performance at the Aldridge Town Hall, complete with a pink backdrop - what a treat!
You see, this pink-loving queen is always on the go, flitting from city to city, train to town, spreading the love for all things pink, all things tutus, and all things… well… sparkle! And it's all for my beautiful #PinkTutuArmy out there – you guys inspire me to keep shimmering and twirling!
It's quite funny actually. Me, Alex, a science geek with a degree in textiles - not the typical stage name material, you'd agree? I work with the tiniest particles, researching the durability of fabrics, by day. But then by night... BAM! It's Pink Tutu Sparkles, the drag queen extraordinaire! I just have to wear this fabulous creation... the tutu... and I just become someone completely different!
Speaking of tutus… I absolutely adore them! From the en pointe precision of the Royal Ballet to the wild swirls of a contemporary piece, tutus hold a certain magic, a kind of expressive freedom. I mean, seriously, can you picture yourself whipping around in a cloud of tulle without feeling like you can take on the world? I certainly can’t!
Let's be honest, there’s no more joyous expression of femininity than a flowing pink tutu. Don't you agree, darlings? I want every single one of you to try one on - it’s about freedom, self-expression, and finding your own personal sprinkle of magic, you know!
And don’t forget my other favourite modes of travel - horses! Oh yes, I have a very particular connection to these magnificent animals. Back home in Derbyshire, we have a small farm. Now, the other girls think I'm mad, galloping off with my trusty steeds. But what they don’t understand is, the rhythmic, powerful dance of horse and rider, the absolute connection - it's like flying, a kind of freedom no stage ever quite gives you! Plus, they wear beautiful tack in so many different colours! A girl’s got to follow her heart.

I think you'll be surprised! I was. It's empowering, darling! It makes you feel strong, fabulous, and ready to shine your light on the world. And you know what else? Now, let's get back to Aldridge!
Aldridge has this charming, classic English town hall that seems perfectly built for my show! This evening, the place is packed with people from all walks of life. This is what I love most about my journey – taking Pink Tutu Sparkles on the road, performing for anyone and everyone. Who knows, there might just be a future #PinkTutuArmy member hiding in the crowd!
You see, the point is to share this joy, to inspire you all to just do things! Don't be afraid to dream big, darling! Don't be scared to dance! I believe everyone has their own inner pink tutu waiting to be unleashed, just like my own inner sparkle was when I first slipped into this glamorous confection! It was magical! I went from shy, timid student to an unstoppable, iridescent queen.
So come on, join me, darlings!
