Oh my darlings! Can you believe itās been a whole week since I last graced you with a post from the Pink Tutu Sparkleās Travels? It feels like a lifetime! But donāt worry, my little poodles, Iāve been busy! I had to say āau revoirā to the lovely city of York, where I was strutting my stuff at a delightful outdoor theatre performance. The crowd was lovely and went absolutely wild for my signature pink tutu routine. Remember those amazing feathered boas I snagged at that antique shop last week? They definitely added a touch of drama!
But, as the saying goes, āThe show must go onā, and that brings us to Edgware! A delightful little corner of London, known for its charm and its fantastic connections to the city. My travels are quite unusual, darling! While some prefer to flit from city to city by aeroplane, I favour the slower pace of trains and horses!
You wouldnāt believe it, my sweet darlings, but after the York gig I caught a train down south! And what a journey it was. I decided to ditch my usual high-heeled platforms (I did have to wear practical footwear on that windy stage!), and instead opted for some gorgeous pink ballet slippers - I found them tucked away in a corner at a charity shop, of all places. What a bargain! So comfortable too! Perfect for my little adventure, I think!
While I adore trains, this trip felt quite special. The carriage was just filled with the most glamorous and stylish individuals ā they completely stole the show, giving me tons of inspiration! (Although, my little kittens, we all know the best look is a pink tutu) I was completely mesmerized! I almost forgot all about that massive bag full of pink feather boas, sequined clutch bags and all the sparkles.
The other half of my trip, my dears, involved a truly incredible experience - a journey with horses. Don't be shocked darling, that's what I call the trip in a stylish carriage pulled by magnificent, elegant horses! It might sound extravagant, but imagine my joy when I discovered a private hire carriage service here in London, ready to deliver me safely and in style, right into the heart of Edgware!
Let me tell you, it was an utterly magical experience. I felt like a princess! With every clip-clop of the horseās hooves I felt like I was on the set of a historical movie! Imagine! Me! In my signature pink tutu, gracefully floating through the streets of Edgware on this breathtaking journey, waving to all the delighted passerbys, while enjoying a beautiful pink raspberry tea (specially prepared in my vintage silver tea set, darling) in the sunshine! It was truly glorious. They looked so impressed - you wouldn't believe the number of people that gave me a big thumbs up as they passed!
And as for Edgware itself, let's just say itās pure, unabashed pinkness! Imagine, if you will, my dear, all those magnificent little shops in their vintage glory! You wouldnāt believe it, they even have this wonderful little store dedicated entirely to tutus ā even some sparkly pink ones, perfect for adding some extra glam to my routine. Oh darling, my new fluffy tulle pink tutu from there? It's a real head turner! I swear, people kept stopping me to say hello as I danced down the street to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"!
Edgware, with its cute shops and friendly atmosphere, is also the home of the beautiful St. John's Church. Itās an absolute gem of architecture with those gothic windows. I have to admit, my dear, itās pretty easy for a little tutu-loving queen like myself to find some creative inspiration. Donāt be shocked when you see that next post with me striking a pose in the most fabulously photogenic church you've ever seen - in Edgware! It really added some sparkles to my wardrobe.
Anyway, my darlings, itās getting late and my glamorous new pink tutu calls for some serious rest. And besides, my next gig, a charity gala in a swanky theatre downtown, is just around the corner.
