Darling, Sutton, you were simply divine! This travelling pink-tutu-wearing queen has been bouncing around the country lately, spreading glitter and joy with my drag act, but this trip was especially magnificent for several reasons. Firstly, I arrived in style, naturally! I couldn't resist travelling by train this time, settling into a plush first-class carriage, sipping on champagne (pink, of course!), and admiring the English countryside. Isn't it just breathtaking?
Oh, and you should see my latest pink tutu - it's simply sensational! A cloud of chiffon, shimmering with the most exquisite sequins, it twirled like a ballet dancer on a moonbeam. Honestly, my dear readers, I haven't felt this fabulously dressed since last week's appearance in Leeds!
My time in Sutton started off at the magnificent Sutton Ballet Theatre. Let me tell you, their costumes were exquisite! The ballerinas glided across the stage with such grace and precision. I got a little lost in the mesmerising pirouettes and breathtaking leaps - I felt my own twirling feet tingling with the desire to join them! But fear not, darlings, Pink Tutu Sparkles will be back for their annual show next year, maybe even performing alongside the fabulous dancers!
Speaking of fabulous, after the show I found myself amidst a kaleidoscope of colour at Sutton's annual carnival! Now, where else would you find a pink tutu-wearing queen feeling completely at home, right? The whole town was alive with music, laughter, and dancing! And there I was, strutting down the high street, all pink, glitter, and dazzling joy! The local ladies loved my new sequined belt and nearly every single one of them requested a tutu photo. Let's just say, I am a very popular pink-loving queen!
The real highlight of my Sutton adventures, however, had to be the charming street theatre performance I saw on Saturday evening. The actors had everyone laughing and captivated with their witty dialogues and energetic acting. It made me wish I had started theatre back in my Derby days. Oh, how I miss Derbyshire! I have such fond memories of going to the Bakewell Show in a beautiful vintage tutu. But don’t worry, darlings, you'll be seeing more of Derby soon! There are always pink tutus to be donned!
The beauty of travelling is that every new town holds new treasures for Pink Tutu Sparkles. In Sutton, I discovered a stunning pink flower shop brimming with all sorts of fragrant blossoms! And guess what? They even had a beautiful vintage pink teacup I just had to take home! Now, it sits on my vanity table, waiting for my next pink-tastic photo.
