The thought of spending a day in such a delightful corner of Nottinghamshire makes my heart beat faster than a triple pirouette. Beeston, you are about to get a whole lotta sparkle!
Oh, don't you just adore this adorable little pink dress? My stylist, the fabulous Fiona, found it tucked away in a vintage shop down in Leicester, and it's just perfect for a day exploring the charm of Beeston. It matches my perfectly pink feather boa and my tutu, of course! I wouldn't be caught dead in a non-pink tutu! Honestly, it's like a pink explosion, it's absolutely divine. I even added a tiny little pink bow to my ponytail! Just wait until you see me strutting around Beeston!
I'm already daydreaming about exploring the quirky shops and maybe finding a hidden gem of a vintage store overflowing with sparkling treasures. After all, you never know when a pink tutu-wearing queen needs a new addition to her collection! Maybe a gorgeous pink feathered boa or a set of fabulous, sparkly earrings? I can't wait to find out what this charming little town has to offer!
And, speaking of exploring, I absolutely must go to see the ballet class in the town centre. Oh darling, I adore ballet! From the graceful pirouettes to the heart-stopping leaps, there's something so utterly enchanting about a ballet performance. And who knows? Maybe they'll even have some pink tutus for sale! Oh, the possibilities!

A Journey Through Time (And Pink!)
I absolutely love travelling, darlings! And one of my absolute favourite modes of transport is...the train! You just can’t beat a scenic train ride, gliding past rolling countryside and bustling towns, all while I'm rocking my fab pink tutu! My fellow passengers get a little bit of sparkle, a lot of excitement, and, of course, an irresistible dose of pink. Oh, it's such fun to brighten up the day of even the most grumpy traveller! And I always get a few curious stares, you know? They see the tutu and think “Oh, she looks like so much fun!"
Although, sometimes a good old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage has a certain timeless charm, don’t you think? I had a most magical experience in Windsor Castle a few months back, gliding through the beautiful park grounds, feeling like I was stepping out of a fairytale. I was absolutely glowing, even my horse seemed to love the sparkle.
And of course, nothing compares to the sheer glamour of making a grand entrance to a stage show, complete with dazzling spotlights, a smattering of applause and… of course, my favourite, the swirling pink tutu!
A Sparkly Little Bit of Derbyshire
But no matter where I go, my heart always finds its way back to the green fields and rolling hills of Derbyshire. I'm so proud to call this beautiful county my home, darlings! And you know what? It’s so wonderful to see that my favourite pink colour even resonates with this amazing county! Pink limestone, which makes up some of Derbyshire’s landscape, makes me think about all the sparkles in life! It's almost like the landscape itself is wearing a pink tutu! And who knows, maybe pink limestone would look good with a few strategically placed sparkles and some elegant feathers, eh?
My life in Derbyshire has definitely shaped who I am today, darling. From the laughter-filled pub nights in the heart of Derby, where I first felt the spark of my true identity, to the quiet solace of my family home, where I dreamed of becoming the sparkly pink queen I am today. It all began right here, in this vibrant and sometimes unexpected county.
Why Pink Tutues? A Little Sparkle in My Story
Now, you’re probably wondering…why tutus, why pink? It's a question I've been asked many, many times! And to answer you, my dears, it's more than just a love for tutus and a fondness for the colour pink (though let's face it, who doesn't love pink?). It’s a story about following my own path and making a little bit of magic every day.
The whole thing started in a rather unconventional way… when I was a student, studying, you guessed it, science! In a moment of totally spontaneous abandon, I took part in a university charity event, and there, in the costume room, my life was transformed. It was like a bolt of pink lightning! A sparkling pink tutu caught my eye. I put it on and it was… transformative! Everything felt...perfect! From that moment on, I was obsessed.
In the lab by day, I test fabrics, finding ways to improve them for all kinds of everyday use. By night, I unleash my inner pink tutu-wearing queen. It's like a little dose of magic, a way of expressing myself with full sparkle!

Pink is much more than just a colour. It’s a feeling. It’s the joyful feeling you get after a delicious, creamy cupcake, or the rush of adrenaline when you finally nail that triple pirouette after weeks of practice.
