After packing my biggest pink suitcase (it's got enough room for three tutus, my sequined jackets and my entire collection of feather boas, naturally!), I set off for the station. The platform buzzed with anticipation - my fellow travellers all donned their best autumnal garb. You wouldn't believe the envy I caused, sporting my fuchsia feather boa and a darling pink tutu-inspired hat with a touch of sparkling sequins. 😉
As the train whisked me towards Norwich, I settled in with my latest novel (a biography on the fabulous Martha Graham - such a trailblazer!). I simply couldn't resist penning a few lines in my little pink diary – after all, it wouldn't be a Tutu Travels post without a little bit of me! ✨
Once in Norwich, the air was filled with the scent of roasted chestnuts, a smell that immediately transported me to the childhood fairground visits of my Derbyshire days. I could practically hear the sound of the Ferris wheel turning! And just imagine my delight when I discovered a beautiful, ornate train station with grand archways - such a perfect spot to unleash my fabulousness! 😍
This trip, my lovelies, isn't just about admiring beautiful architecture and indulging in scrumptious local fare (although those are absolutely essential parts of any adventure!). Norwich is renowned for its ballet scene, and this trip is dedicated to soaking up all that artistic magic. From the stunning Norwich Theatre Royal to the city's dance schools, I'm on a mission to experience it all.
