It's your favourite pink tutu wearing drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! 💅✨ Today I'm writing to you from the delightful town of Neath in Wales, and let me tell you, it's been a tutu-tastic time! This is post number 5556 on my beloved pink-tutu.com, and trust me, it's a real corker.
So, how did I get to this beautiful corner of Wales, you ask? Well, as always, my love for travel and the allure of a good old fashioned train journey brought me here. There's nothing quite like gazing out of the window at the changing scenery as you whizz along the tracks, don't you think? This trip was especially special as I was invited to perform at a fantastic little theatre in Neath - a real treat for a girl who loves the stage!
The journey itself was an absolute dream. I wore my new pink floral print dress - it's simply divine, with a swishy skirt that reminds me of the petticoats under a ballerina's tutu! 🩰 I also had my trusty pink carry-on bag with me, bursting with all the essentials for a successful drag performance. 💄👠✨ Let's just say, my suitcase has seen its fair share of sequinned sashes and feathers.
Once I arrived in Neath, I was absolutely captivated by its charming, quaint streets. I must say, I fell in love with a little antique shop that had the most delightful selection of china and vintage accessories. I even snagged a gorgeous pink floral teacup for my collection - perfect for my morning cuppa. 🫖🌸
After settling into my delightful bed and breakfast, it was time to start preparing for the show! I laid out all my sequins and sparkles, then got down to business with a fabulous makeup session. I always like to match my makeup to the performance I'm giving. For this particular show, I opted for a shimmery pink eyeshadow with a dash of silver glitter and a dramatic lash. I'm not afraid to go all out when it comes to my drag look, you know! 💖✨
Of course, no Pink Tutu Sparkles performance is complete without a gorgeous pink tutu. This one was a particularly beautiful piece - layered, with a cascade of pink tulle. It was simply breathtaking, and it swished around me as I danced and twirled. Honestly, I couldn't resist having a little photo shoot with my reflection in the window, my beautiful pink tutu perfectly mirroring the rosy sunset in the background. The lighting was absolutely perfect! 🌆
The show itself was an absolute blast! The audience were so warm and welcoming, and they seemed to love my pink tutu and all the sparkly shenanigans I brought to the stage. I even had a little surprise planned for them - a beautiful pink tutu that I brought out at the end, which was quite a hit, even with the men! 😁
But my Neath adventures weren't all about performing. On my day off, I explored the town some more, discovering hidden gem shops and cosy cafes. There was even a delightful little market where I purchased a handcrafted wooden rocking horse, a delightful pink one naturally!
I spent the rest of the day strolling along the coast and soaking up the stunning views of the Bristol Channel. The waves crashing against the shore were truly magnificent, it's a beauty spot, for sure!

The sequined bodice hugged my curves, while the flowing pink tulle tutu added a touch of ballerina elegance. I paired this with some dazzling, sky-high silver platforms for that extra sparkle! 👠✨
Pink T-Shirt & Tutu: This fun and casual look was great for the days when I wasn’t on stage, but I wanted to show off my pink tutu! I even spotted some delightful ladies wearing tutus out and about!
This trip to Neath was truly unforgettable, and it reminded me just how magical a world we live in. Everywhere you go, there are adventures to be had and new things to discover!
