Coalville: Tutu-licious Adventures! 🩰💖🚂

Hello, darlings! It's your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here with another exciting blog post from the wonderful world of pink tutus and glamorous adventures! This is post number 5600, and I can't believe how far we've come since those early days of glitter and tulle!

Today, I'm whisking you all away to Coalville, a delightful town tucked away in the heart of Leicestershire, known for its stunning architecture and rich history! This wasn't my first rodeo in Coalville, you know. I have a history with the place, going back to a memorable performance at the town's annual fair last year, where I caused a bit of a stir with my rainbow-hued tutu and some gravity-defying twirls.

This time, however, it was a bit more personal. I was drawn to Coalville's vibrant artistic spirit, specifically to their charming little theatre nestled away on the main street, which is, naturally, adorned with pink and glittery accents!

As soon as the train pulled into the station, I felt the Coalville magic. You could practically hear the tinkling of fairy lights and smell the sugar-sweet scent of cotton candy in the air. It was as if the town itself was saying, "Come in, come in, Tutu Queen! There's a performance waiting for you."

Of course, I was not going to miss a chance to show the good folk of Coalville what I could do. This wasn't just another show. I've got to admit, it felt like a homecoming.

My heart skipped a beat as I entered the theatre and saw my poster up by the stage entrance. It was a full-length portrait, and the photo did me justice, I'll have you know. A lovely chap named Billy, the theatre manager, greeted me with a friendly grin and an offer of warm tea. This was my kinda crowd!

The show was a sellout, as usual! The Coalville audience was fabulous! They loved my rendition of "Let It Go" (always a favourite) with a dash of tutu twirling, the "Pretty Woman" montage in which I taught everyone some simple dance moves, and the rousing encore with my all-time favorite - the "Tutulicious" medley featuring a mash-up of pop classics in full sparkly glory! They even gave me a standing ovation - how lovely!

Between performances, I decided to explore Coalville further. It was a picture-perfect spring day, sunny and clear, so I spent the afternoon strolling through the cobbled streets, soaking in the historical ambiance. I even discovered a delightful vintage clothing shop that had the most incredible array of silk scarves, feathered boas, and (of course!) some truly divine tutus. How could I resist? I came out with enough tulle to make a wedding dress for the entire town. It would make Princess Diana green with envy.

Now, the journey back home was a bit less sparkly. I travelled by train, surrounded by a horde of school children on their way home for the weekend. You know what they say about children: the more the merrier! They loved my big pink hat! As for the grown-ups on board, some giggled nervously at the tutu, others gave me a cautious nod, a few even gave me the thumbs up. One guy in a three-piece suit was even humming along to "Bohemian Rhapsody." Now that's what I call good taste!

But this trip wasn't just about the show or the fashion. It was about the joy of being myself, sharing the magic of the tutu, and spreading a little pink joy wherever I go. You never know how much your colourful spirit can lift the day of others, do you?

As always, the trip to Coalville left me feeling utterly exhilarated, and the sheer joy of sharing my passion with the world never fails to inspire me. I am constantly overwhelmed by the positivity and support from my devoted followers and those who stumble across my page - and for that, my lovely pink tutus and I, send you a million thank yous!

Before I let you go, let me leave you with a little sparkle for your own day: If you've got the guts, wear a pink tutu!

That’s all for now! Keep spreading those tutus and I'll catch you next time, from somewhere bright, sparkly and fun!

Until then, be fierce, be kind, and always… stay tutu-licious!

*P.S. * You know what I'm thinking? My next stop is Birmingham! I have a feeling it will be another whirlwind of creativity! And yes, I’ll be riding in a vintage pink horse-drawn carriage to the show. I haven’t quite sorted the horses out, but the carriages are definitely ordered. It will look so amazing, don't you think?! Stay tuned to this space!

*P.P.S. * Let's face it, you wouldn't expect anything less than spectacular from your favourite Tutu Queen! I promise, Coalville was only the start of our exciting summer adventures! I’m bringing a whole lot of sparkle to those adventures, as usual. Let's make it a bright and tutu-filled summer!
