Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! 💅💖✨ This is post number 5609 (yes, I keep track!), and today I'm bubbling over with excitement because I just finished a fabulous trip to Whitley Bay! 🌊☀️
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Whitley Bay? Really?" But trust me, this seaside gem is more than meets the eye! From its stunning beaches to its charming pier and bustling high street, Whitley Bay has it all - including some seriously gorgeous vintage clothing stores, where I scooped up a handful of sparkly vintage jackets and a sequined hat (perfect for a rainy day!) 🛍️✨
Let's rewind a little. My journey to Whitley Bay began with a gloriously sunny train ride. 🚄 I must confess, I felt like a little bit of royalty travelling in my full pink tutu regalia, complete with a sparkly tiara and my favourite pink feather boa! The other passengers seemed absolutely enthralled!
Reaching Whitley Bay, I was immediately struck by the beautiful, vast stretch of beach, sparkling in the sun! 🏖️ I practically squealed with delight! This was a truly magical moment! I threw on my sun hat and had a wander along the promenade, taking in the vibrant atmosphere, the sound of the waves crashing, the fresh air. Ah, just wonderful! 🥰
And you know what, my darlings? I spotted a whole bunch of lovely families, and to my surprise, some of them were wearing pink! 🤯 Maybe it's the magical, almost mystical power of my pink tutus. I swear, every day I see more and more pink. It's truly delightful to see that my vision of a pink-hued world is becoming a reality! 💗
Of course, no trip to the coast is complete without a visit to the seaside pier. Well, it would have been rude not to, wouldn't it? 😄 The pier is a charming, old-fashioned gem! I love its quaintness and its old-school amusement rides! You can always rely on a classic funfair for a laugh, a bit of silliness and some fun, can't you? 🎡🎉
I had a go on a few rides, although, I have to admit, I'm not the bravest of souls. I thought a gentle boat ride would be safe enough, but oh, the seasickness! 😂 Let's just say, it took all of my inner sparkle to survive. 😵 But you know me, I always see the funny side, even if my insides feel a bit wonky. 😄
On the bright side, my adventure on the pier meant a fabulous feast at one of the chip shops that line the walkway! Crispy, hot chips and a fresh cod are always a delight on a seaside trip! 🐟🍟🤤 (The best bit? The pink sauce!). I polished off those chips in a matter of minutes.
That evening, I performed a stunning show at the charming Whitley Bay Playhouse. ✨ The audience was fantastic and the venue, beautifully quaint, adding a touch of nostalgia to my performance!
Later, I had the most delicious dinner at a tiny bistro tucked away in the corner of the town. They even had my favourite dish - steak and kidney pie! My kind host even had a single pink rose on my table, which really made me feel like a queen! 💕
And wouldn't you know it, my adventures weren't done yet! On my last morning, I had a very special ballet class by the beach with a delightful group of local ballet dancers!🩰 Just imagine, twirling on the golden sands, watching the sun rise over the sea, it was pure bliss! 😍💖
Sadly, my stay in Whitley Bay was all too short, but I packed in so much fun and excitement! From charming old shops to scenic strolls and fabulous performances, it's safe to say that this seaside town is now definitely on my top list of pink-tutu-friendly destinations! 💕💖✨
