This week, my sparkly heels took me to the beautiful town of Wishaw, Scotland, for a truly unforgettable performance. Now, I love travelling in style, so naturally, I hopped aboard a grand old train for this adventure. I mean, what's more romantic than gazing out at the passing countryside, dreaming of sparkly gowns and tutus fluttering in the breeze? (Especially if the train has a lovely buffet car serving scones and jam!). 🍓☕️
Wishaw itself is a delightful little gem. Charming streets, friendly faces, and, of course, the most welcoming crowd imaginable. The stage was all set, glittering under the stage lights like a delicious pink cake frosting. And wouldn't you know it? The audience was absolutely spellbound! From my dazzling entrance in my new (totally custom-designed!) pink sequin tutu, to my final farewell bow, they were eating out of my hand! 💖
Ballet Bliss and Fairy Tales!
Speaking of ballet, I have to tell you about my visit to the Wishaw Dance Academy. These talented young dancers are truly a shining example of dedication and artistry. The energy was electric! After the class, they even let me try on one of their beautiful tutus. Now, you all know that nothing gives me more joy than twirling in a fluffy pink masterpiece - it truly feels like I'm living a real-life fairytale! 💖

Naturally, no trip is complete without a good ol' fashioned shopping spree. You see, it's in my DNA, this insatiable urge to fill my wardrobe with pink perfection. I mean, if the world was truly pink, how glorious would that be? I can almost hear the angels singing! 😇

Now, many of you might wonder, what goes on behind the curtain? Well, by day I am a humble scientist (okay, maybe not so humble - I can be quite a character!). My passion lies in researching fabrics, making sure they're comfy and sustainable and all that. But by night, it's time to unleash my true self, Pink Tutu Sparkles, on the world.
My drag journey started during my science degree, believe it or not! I was a part of the university's ballet club and at a charity event, I got talked into wearing a pink tutu - the rest, as they say, is history! Now, it's not always easy balancing two such different lives. But the thrill of spreading pink tutu magic and performing for the crowds fuels my fire and keeps me going! 💖
