As you know, I live for travel, and getting to Brighton was half the fun! ✨ This time I opted for a picturesque train journey, the journey itself was pure glamour, all that sunshine streaming through the window while I gazed at the lush countryside whizzing by. I always say, a girl needs a little pampering, and what better way than a journey filled with the sweet scent of freshly baked pastries, the gentle hum of the engine, and of course, a sparkling glass of prosecco. 🥂
My sparkly pink luggage was packed to the brim with the most gorgeous, tulle-licious, glittery outfits, of course! 😉 This time I chose a cherry blossom-print tutu, because let's face it, pink on pink is just a beautiful explosion of sunshine and fabulousness, and what better place to show off my love for this iconic combination than Brighton, where the vibrant colours of the city blend so effortlessly with my own.
The moment I arrived at the station, the bustling energy of Brighton just engulfed me. 💫 The laughter, the street performers, the cafes bursting with life… it felt like stepping onto the stage of a beautiful, open-air play! My first stop? The Pavilion, naturally! 👑 It was even more magnificent in real life than in pictures. I couldn't resist posing for a few selfies, the grand architecture provided the perfect backdrop for my tutu and pink glitter, if I do say so myself. ✨
The streets of Brighton are just bursting with quirky charm, every corner you turn presents a new delightful surprise! I found a gorgeous little vintage shop where I managed to snag the most exquisite floral patterned pink scarf - it’s the perfect addition to my collection. 🌹 You all know my weakness - anything floral, anything pink, I'm instantly in love! 💖
Of course, no trip to Brighton would be complete without experiencing their legendary beach. ✨ Now, I know some of you might be thinking, "Pink Tutu, why Brighton in August? Surely it'll be packed with tourists!" and let me tell you, you are right! 😄 However, this just added to the fun! Beach vibes in August mean ice cream, live music, and lots of sunshine - the perfect recipe for a truly fantastic day, and I made the most of it! 🍨🎤☀️
I decided to surprise everyone and break out the ultimate summer outfit - a flowing, soft pink chiffon tutu over my swimsuit! I love how the fabric billows in the wind. 💖 Everyone loved it, and I even managed to snag a photo with some seagulls who seemed rather charmed by my fabulous attire. 😄
After all that sunshine, my inner ballet queen was longing for the stage! 😉 My performance at the "Mermaid's Inn" was a huge hit, all thanks to the fantastic crowd. 🎤 They loved the energy I brought, the theatrical flare, and my dazzling choreographed numbers - it was an absolute blast. 💃
It was after the performance that I was approached by a group of aspiring drag artists. It was so heart-warming to see them so enthusiastic and ready to express themselves. 😄 I was happy to spend some time sharing advice, from mastering makeup, to designing tutus, to finding your voice, they were absolutely brilliant! 💫
Now, my dear readers, you all know that I’m all about encouraging people to embrace their inner TutuQueen! 💖 And guess what? Brighton gave me the perfect opportunity to spread my message.
In the heart of Brighton’s lively North Laine area, I stumbled upon a gorgeous shop full of tutus and fancy dress, and of course, I couldn't leave without buying at least four! (Shhhh don’t tell Alex!). 😄 After all, who says you can’t have too many tutus, right? I planned a little pop-up event in a beautiful open square surrounded by brightly painted houses. 🌈 My idea? To create a fun and sparkly environment to encourage everyone to try on a pink tutu, strike a pose and have a fab time!
Oh, the joy of seeing all the hesitant smiles transform into beaming laughter as people stepped out of their comfort zone, put on a tutu and danced their hearts out! 😍 My message is so simple, but powerful. Everyone can embrace a little bit of glitz and glamour! 💕
Brighton truly embraced my message, and as I said, Brighton has quickly become a favorite spot! This trip was all about sharing my passion with others and showing them how a pink tutu can make your world a little brighter, one dance at a time. 💃 ✨
