Oxford Calling! Pink Tutu Sparkles on the Rails ๐Ÿ’–

Post Number: 5706

Hello, darling dears! Your favourite pink-tutu-wearing queen is back, and this time, it's Oxford calling! Yes, the land of dreaming spires and punting on the river. And believe you me, I'm ready to turn Oxford pink with my sparkly tutu magic!

It's been a while since I've ventured into the land of academic elegance. My last trip was to see a wonderful production of Swan Lake at the Oxford Playhouse. The ballet was simply stunning, the swans graceful and elegant. But that's a story for another day.

This time, I'm here for a different kind of adventure! I'm here to perform at a rather quirky, fabulously pink vintage fair happening in the heart of Oxford. They wanted a "dash of glitter" - cue Pink Tutu Sparkles! Now, my sweethearts, there is nothing I adore more than a vintage fair. All those colourful fabrics, interesting oddities, and treasures just begging to be rediscovered...it's like a vintage haven for the eyes, isn't it? I simply adore it!

Getting to Oxford, well, you wouldn't believe the adventure I had! I've been travelling by train a lot lately, which I'm really loving. You get to see so much more of the country from a train window. This time, though, my journey was extra special. Imagine, darling, I'm in a quaint little town in Derbyshire (my home away from home), having a spot of afternoon tea in a beautiful Victorian cafe. Suddenly, I hear a loud, dramatic "neigh!" A pair of shiny black eyes look through the window at me! It was the most beautiful, velvety black horse you ever saw! And, you won't believe this, he was wearing a pink saddlecloth! You know my fondness for pink, so you can imagine how I was feeling!

A friendly gentleman introduced himself and invited me on a special, secret journey - a magical trek on this extraordinary horse through the rolling English countryside! He said the horse loves bright pink tutus and thought I was a brilliant choice for a horseback adventure! I wouldn't say no to a little romance with a noble steed, so off we galloped!

Needless to say, it was a magical ride, the breeze in my hair, the pink tutu fluttering in the wind. What's better than the fresh air and open spaces, darling? But let's be honest, nothing quite beats that triumphant arrival at Oxford station.

I'm excited about this gig! I have been brainstorming new outfits all week. Of course, a few classic pieces are making the trip! My signature, glittery pink tutu is an absolute must, but I am also bringing a brand new one โ€“ a fluffy pink ballerina tutu, perfect for twirling. And donโ€™t even get me started on the outfits! A blush pink, shimmering silk dress with a sparkly bolero jacket is in my bag. Plus, my lucky pink sequin stilettos - wouldn't be caught dead without them!

Iโ€™m planning on hitting the vintage stores before my show โ€“ imagine the treasures I can unearth! The lovely vintage stall owners at the fair told me about this amazing thrift store that's tucked away in an alleyway. You wouldnโ€™t even believe it โ€“ they sell tutus and pink feathered boas galore! What's more, you know my penchant for a lovely ballet class. There's a fantastic studio near my hotel where I can take a ballet class. Perfect for loosening up before my performance, and oh darling, I can't resist a bit of pirouette and grand jetรฉ!

This is going to be a simply magnificent trip. From horseback riding through rolling fields to swirling in my sparkly tutus for a crowd of eager vintage fans, I'm feeling quite rosy with anticipation. And to all my darling readers: keep an eye on my blog and social media for behind-the-scenes pictures, glittery outfit snapshots and lots more of Oxford in my Pink Tutu Sparkles style!

This isn't just a journey to Oxford, my loves, this is a journey to a whole new level of pink perfection. Let's make this pink magic together! ๐Ÿ’–

*Until next time, darling! Stay pink, stay sparkling, and never be afraid to twirl! *

(XOXO) Pink Tutu Sparkles
