Oh darling, you wouldn't believe the adventures your Pink Tutu Queen had today! The day started off like any other â with a trip to the lab. You wouldn't believe it, but the team I work with were practically tripping over themselves trying to find out what colour I was wearing today. I mean, what other scientist in Derbyshire rocks a hot pink dress and an actual tutu with pride?! (For those wondering, I was actually rocking my Sparkly Rainbow Princess tutu - the one with all the glitter â oh darling, it's heavenly.)
By lunchtime, my pinkness was ready for Watford! Yes, Watford. The heart of England, the place where my day turned into pure magic. I travelled in style of course - no boring old car for this diva! I snagged a spot on a first class train and spent the journey catching up on the latest ballet trends and browsing Pinterest for inspiration (just in case, darling!) I mean, what better way to inspire a fab pink tutu outfit than by gazing upon those iconic Nutcracker costumes? The perfect Christmas look, right?!
Arriving in Watford felt like entering a vibrant fairytale. The energy of the crowd was electrifying, and I knew it was going to be a night I wouldn't soon forget. Iâve found that this lovely town has some absolutely fantastic venues, all with welcoming staff who are delighted to let me spread my pink tutu wings! Today's show was at [Venue name], and let me tell you, darling, it was spectacular.
The crowd was fantastic! And as I performed my âTutu Twirlâ, everyone was practically leaping out of their seats (donât worry, they all stayed firmly in their seats. My routines arenât exactly a reason to throw caution to the wind!).
Every face was aglow with laughter and joy. Thatâs what I love about drag - bringing a bit of glitz, glam and happiness into people's lives. As I twirled in my shimmering, iridescent pink tutu, I remembered exactly why I do what I do: it's a chance to shine a light of hope and make everyone feel like they can twirl, sparkle and be fabulous!
But my adventure in Watford wasn't just about the performance. I must say, darling, I had some pretty spectacular meals and found myself immersed in the culture. Watford truly has it all!

As the night wrapped up, I was ready to embark on my train journey back home. Even the trip back was special. A kind stranger asked if she could share her table with me and we chatted for hours! It's one of the wonders of life, wouldnât you say? By the time I was back in my tiny Derbyshire town, I was ready for a hot bubble bath, a glass of something sparkling, and my favourite fluffy pink bathrobe. Tomorrow, the lab beckons. But even under a lab coat, my heart will remain overflowing with the sparkle of Watford!
