This is my 5,741st blog post, and let me tell you, every day feels like a brand new adventure with my darling readers. You all inspire me with your kindness and support as I strive to share my love for the magical world of tutus with the world. After all, my mission is simple: get everyone rocking a pink tutu, whether they're strutting down the street or sipping tea at a tea party!
I've got to say, I love a good journey. The train ride to Hartlepool was absolutely delightful, watching the countryside flit by as I sipped on my favourite raspberry lemonade (the bubbles in the glass mimicking the twinkle of my sequins, if you ask me!). I don't mind travelling on a horse either, as long as it's one that doesn't shy away from my bright pink ensemble - after all, a good horse is a true friend to a pink tutu-loving queen!
Speaking of pink, my ensemble for today's performance is positively divine! Imagine, if you will, a fluffy pink tutu fit for a ballerina swan, layered with sparkling pink feathers that dance and twirl with every movement. I'm topping it all off with a hand-beaded bodice that sparkles like a thousand shooting stars, adorned with a giant pink bow that wouldn't look out of place on a real princess!
And speaking of princesses, who can forget ballet? I adore it! Seeing the grace, the precision, the pure artistic expression of the dancers...it's pure magic. And you know what? The very first time I tried on a tutu was actually for a university charity event - we were fundraising for the ballet club! And I have to admit, the moment that fluffy, pink, tutu circled my hips...I knew it was meant to be. I guess you could say it was love at first twirl!
