Hello lovelies! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with you again for blog post number 5828! Did someone say Kirkby? Because I'm shimmying, spinning and sashayin' my way into your hearts – and onto the Kirkby stage!
First off, I need to talk about the train journey. You guys know I adore a good train trip – all that glamour and the click-clack of the tracks… It’s a sensory overload, and that’s a good thing, darlings! Of course, no journey for Pink Tutu Sparkles is complete without a splash of pink! Let’s just say, my travelling companion and I (my fabulous luggage) were a pink vision against the backdrop of the rolling green fields. Did I mention I wore a sparkly pink feather boa? Absolutely divine!
Now, about the performance... sigh... oh Kirkby, you truly stole my heart! The audience was so warm and welcoming, a truly glittering ball of pure joy. We laughed together, cried together (just a tiny teardrop, of course!), and most importantly, we danced together. And let me tell you, there was not a soul in that venue not wearing at least a hint of pink! That's the magic of Pink Tutu Sparkles, I reckon – you just can't resist a touch of pink, darling!
But what was this show all about, you ask? It wasn’t your average drag performance, oh no! I took inspiration from the local ballet company, incorporating graceful twirls and elegant poses into my act. It was a kaleidoscope of shimmering pink and passionate dance, set to the music of Tchaikovsky – truly a breathtaking spectacle!
I even went so far as to take some time between performances to visit the local ballet studio. They were simply delighted to see Pink Tutu Sparkles strutting her stuff, and let me tell you, I had the most divine time trying out a new set of pink pointe shoes! They made such a delightful click-clack sound on the wooden floor. If only my stage floor at home had the same level of resonance!
This trip to Kirkby has been a true fairytale, darlings! I just love experiencing new places and sharing a little bit of my pink sparkle with the world. My mission is to make everyone happy, and let’s face it, what's not to love about pink tutus and ballet?! And let me tell you, I am one step closer to achieving that goal – spreading the pink love one shimmery tutu at a time!
