Helloooo darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to sprinkle a little extra sparkle into your day! I'm just bubbling over with excitement because I'm about to embark on a fabulously fun journey to Hornchurch! I can practically hear the roar of the crowd and see those big, wide, delighted eyes twinkling up at me.
You see, darlings, life is about embracing the joy of every single moment, and this little Pink Tutu knows just how to make those moments unforgettable! Remember how I mentioned last week I'd be going to a fancy-dress fair? Well, let's just say it's not going to be a fairground type fair! I'm a professional you know, this is the big time. This one's going to be right up my street! My beautiful tutu will be making its debut to the stage, in all its pink and sparkly glory!
Now, I'm not talking about any old, ordinary, dusty train journey, oh no, darlings. It's a journey that's as pink and delightful as my own sparkly persona. Yes, I'm making my grand entrance on horseback! That's right, imagine me in a beautiful pink tutu, perched atop a magnificent horse, galloping through the countryside with the wind whipping my feathered boas and making my sparkly tiara shine even brighter! Doesn't it sound like something out of a fairytale? And for those who are thinking 'it's far too hot to travel like that', trust me, darling, it's a very very good, friendly horse! We're besties - I even put on little tutus for him from time to time, to ensure he looks as fabulous as I do! And he loves his tutus - imagine a 12-foot-tall brown and white pony wearing a giant fluffy bright pink tutu, it's a sight you wouldn't want to miss!
It's all thanks to a lovely, generous, family-run stables near my home. They've offered me the honour of arriving in such a spectacular fashion - they’re also offering me a fabulous stable to stay in while I’m here, so I can bring the magic right through the night! Oh, they're so kind! And they adore Pink Tutu Sparkles, can you imagine? You could say they're my biggest fans. I know some people wouldn't know a horse's tail from a tutu, but trust me, they're fabulous at all sorts of things, like being gentle and beautiful!
This trip is a wonderful opportunity to bring my Pink Tutu message to Hornchurch – my aim in life you see, is to bring some sparkle and fun to everyone, and who doesn't love a little tutu? They really make you feel good, whether it's twirling on stage or just doing a little prance around the supermarket.
It's a trip I've been planning for ages - Hornchurch holds a very special place in my heart because it's where I saw my very first professional ballet performance, The Nutcracker! I was absolutely spellbound, and let's just say, a certain pink tutu-wearing dream began to form in my head. Remember I told you I was studying science? I always felt so odd being at uni, the only girl in the lab with the rest of them, and there was so much pressure to fit in and wear all these bland clothes, boring clothes… not a pink tutu in sight, darling. Thankfully I was the university ballet club president and decided we would host a charity fundraiser where I’d put on a ballet dress. After putting on the costume – a sparkling pink tutu – everything changed for me. Suddenly I realised I loved how this made me feel. I was free to express myself and let my creativity run wild. Then everything took off. Suddenly I wasn't a lab tech anymore, I was Pink Tutu Sparkles, spreading my pink and sparkly message throughout the world, a sequin at a time!
I mean, isn’t it a beautiful coincidence that the place I saw my first performance has become the setting for the latest in Pink Tutu's grand adventures? I really can't wait to unleash my fabulous pink tutu upon the world. It's not just about fashion, darling - it's about reminding ourselves that life is for dancing!
To prepare for my adventure, I've been scouring vintage clothing stores, adding those final touches to my outfit. My dress, darling, it's like something straight out of a fairytale! Imagine, if you will, the softest, most luxurious pink fabric imaginable, draping in elegant, flowing layers, embellished with hand-sewn crystals that catch the light and sparkle like a million stars! I wouldn't have it any other way - it needs to match my pink tutu, don't you think? Oh! And the feathered boa, that's simply divine - the perfect contrast to the sleek silhouette. And of course, my sparkly tiara will sit, majestic, upon my head, gleaming under the stage lights, a shining beacon of Pink Tutu power!
The best part? This fabulous adventure is made even better knowing that I'm sharing it with all of you, darlings. I’ll be writing to you about everything, the sights I see, the people I meet, all the fabulous food and the fun, but don’t worry, I'll spare you the bits where I talk about the smell of the stables, not all my readers are a horse girl! (although there's a few who are I think – just based on the comments – let me know!) This, my dear friends, is about sharing my joy, and that joy wouldn't be the same without you.
